Cam Thanh is a charming little village on the outskirts of Hoi An. During the Vietnamese war, it served as a refuge for locals and soldiers. Today, it is renowned for its seafood production. A visit to Cam Thanh village offers an opportunity to observe the daily routines of fishermen, learn to navigate the distinctive Vietnamese bamboo basket boats, wander through the peaceful coconut-palm flanked waterways, and gain hands-on experience with casting nets.
