With the assistance of the facilitator, you’ll acquire knowledge about the traits of the cacao tree, the process of cacao cultivation in Vietnam; learn the methods used by the Vietnamese to create chocolate using indigenous ingredients; and gain the skills to craft your own chocolate in your kitchen.
The workshop is concise yet packed with valuable insights.
You have the option to select the kind of chocolate you wish to make - be it dark or milk chocolate - and additional components for your personalized chocolate bars, truffles, bonbons, etc.
- Kindly be noted that the classroom is cool ~ 16-20⁰C. You might want to bring a light jacket or wear long sleeved shirt

Chocolate making class - Great day! Recommend if you’re ever in Hoi An. Unique and fun! So much delicious chocolate:)) We learned so much about the chocolate production and made truffles, pralines and our own chocolate bar. Even got a free drink, which was lovely.

Chocolate class done right (; - The class focuses mostly on chocolate making and is more a fun experience in creating/mixing your own personalized chocolate.
But if you're a chocolate lover it's definetely a must! (:

Unforgettably way to learn about Vietnamese cuisine, history and culture! - We loved our experience with Alluvia! We made a same day request for a chocolate making class and they accommodated us right away by creating a private class just for us (family of five). They were so kind and patient with our children and let them explore and taste everything! The staff were very knowledgeable about the chocolate making process but also catered our experience to be as exciting and fun as possible for three young kids. You’ll have fun no matter what age you are and learn a lot too! Highly recommend!

Really fun activity in Hoi An! - We did the chocolate making class in hoi an and had a great time! The class was informative and fun and you got to take home everything you made, would definitely recommended!

Absolute must-do in Hoi An - SO FUN. You really learn a lot, and you have fun doing it too. The free chocolate drink they give you (you get to pick one) is also delicious. Highly, highly recommend. We're going to start doing some chocolate making at home because of the class. :)

Making chocolate - We signed up to do the chocolate making class and it did not disappoint! It's very well priced, it's informative, fun and you make your own bar and selection of truffles! You also get a complimentary drink from their drinks menu and the coffee is delicious!!

10/10 experience - New shop in Hoi an, Chocolate brand is big in Vietnam! Very interesting experience, good value for money! Get to take away the chocolate you’ve made and you get a free drink before or after the class!
Would definitely recommend to backpackers and holidaymakers!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE AT ALLUVIA - My baby had a great experience at Alluvia.
Baby tried making chocolate for the first time. When he returned home, he still remembered and talked about that experience.
Although at first she was still confused and shy, with enthusiastic encouragement and guidance from the aunts and uncles, she was able to complete her product herself. Once done, you can still bring the finished product home ❤
Because my baby is only 3 years old and this is his first experience, we let him do the basic package. But I will definitely try the premium package next time I come back to Hoi An so the whole family can experience it together.
Thank you Alluvia for giving your baby and family an unforgettable experience when coming to Hoi An.
