- Ice Pic Journeys - This is one of the most unique experiences in Iceland. Ice Caves are typically only enjoyed in the summer months but for the adventurous, they can be explored year round with this summer ice cave. During this tour you will be lead by your guide who doubles as your own professional photographer, deep into the glacier. It is here that you will lean Ice climbing and how to use your crampons and ice axes. We will travel through exciting terrain and have many opportunities to put your ice climbing skills to the test. Throughout the hike, you will also learn about the history of Vatnajokull Glacier and how the ice forms and has moved throughout the centuries. After the tour ends, your guide will professionally edit your photos and email them to you within the week. These photos will be the perfect souvenir and memory of your adventure in Iceland!

Additional Information
Our company stands alone in Iceland for offering photography packages inclusive of all tours. This activity ensures a comprehensive package for your private group encompassing caving and ice climbing adventures. Each participant will receive 25 professionally edited images, distributed through Google Drive post the hiking week. The package includes customised landscape images, individual portraits, and collective group photographs from your expedition.
- In order to operate this tour we need 2 passengers minimum.
- Please email your Ice Climbing experience level to [email protected] after booking: Beginner (never been on the ice before), Intermediate or Advanced. We ask for this, so we can pair you with the perfect guide.
- Please email [email protected] your hiking boots size if required.
- Photos are edited and sent approximately 14 days after your tour.

Amazing, one of a kind tour - Best part of our trip to Iceland. The ice cave was definitely one of the most beautiful and surreal places I have ever seen. Mike was very helpful with information about the area and tailoring the trip to our specific needs. The photo package was the clincher. Was traveling with friends I don't see often so the photos were the best souvenir we could ask for. They were great both for the quality and because it meant we could just enjoy the day without stopping to take photos ourselves. Can't say enough great things about it!

Glacier Hiking and Climbing! Amazing experience - Such an unique and amazing private experience! Ryan and Mike so helpful and flexible for my queries about the tour. Florent, our guide, was fantastic! He was well informed about the glaciers and made the tour so safe! He was very easy to approach and made the tour so comfortable for us.
Would definitely recommend for anyone searching a tour with guide who is also professional photographer!! The photos are amazing!! What else can you ask more?Definitely worth it!
