Fun and informative tour - The tour to el tajin was fantastic. Highly recommended for any travelers who want to see an archaeological site that isn’t overtly commercialized. The ruins are well preserved and you get to learn a lot of history that most foreign tourists wouldn’t know about. The tour has a driver/tour guide for the road trip and also a historical specialist guide at el tajin. The historian guide at el tajin (think his name is Jose but not 100% sure) is extremely knowledgeable and is clearly very passionate about the project here. He went into a lot of details far beyond our expectations. Also, his English is very good so English speakers can feel confident asking the most difficult questions. Our driver/guide is Rafael. He is extremely friendly and we had a great trip together. Note that the driver/guide for this company generally Spanish speaking only but this shouldn’t deter non-Spanish speaking folks from taking the tour. We don’t speak a single sentence of Spanish but had no trouble communicating with Rafael via using translation app. Rafael is very patient and accommodating so everything went smoothly. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour.

Wow - Wow. What an amazing experience, we learnt a lot about the history of Tajin thanks to our fantastic guide Fernando, who was so considerate when translating to us in English. The town of Papantla was beautiful, safe, welcoming and very traditional looking Mexican. I would say if you can visit during October time is great as the weather is not too hot and the towns decorated for Dia De Muertos. Our driver Marin was fabulous, really accommodating even when the language barrier was apparent. All we would say is don’t book anything else on this day, as it’s a full days trip and we also got stuck in traffic on the way home for 2 hours. However, we had a brilliant time and we throughly recommend.

Amazing trip! - I had an absolutely fantastic experience thanks to them. Coming from Romania, I organized and paid everything in advance and I want to tell you that everything went according to plan. We had equally good communication on Whatsapp where we also set the place (hotel) and the time we would be picked up in the morning. The bus was comfortable and the driver's behavior was impeccable. The guide who was waiting for us at El Tajin made the experience we had there an extraordinary one, presenting the history of the place in so many details and with a passion that I have rarely been given to experience. I want to mention that we were a group of 8 people, of which I and a friend were not Spanish speakers, so the guide chose to divide us into two groups presenting in Spanish and later in English. At the entrance to the archaeological site we thoroughly enjoyed the show offered by Los Voladores de Papantla. On the way back to Veracruz we had 2 and a half hours to enjoy the authentic experience of a small Mexican town, Papantla. We were lucky to meet in the group 2 wonderful people from Mexico who took us on a tour of the city. Initially we were considering to go to eat in a restaurant, but they came up with the idea of going to a market where I was going to have one of the best culinary experiences of my entire life. The variety of Tamales eaten there and the juice made from red corn were simply fantastic. The Mexican fellow travelers insisted on paying for all of us, considering us to be their guests, this showed once more how hospitable the Mexican people are. We tried the fried crickets with salsa and lime, a local pastry, chili peppers and more. We ended our day in Papantla watching once again the show of the Papantla Flyers held in the churchyard of the city and later climbing to the highest point of the city where a huge statue of a flyer was placed. From there we went to the meeting point where the driver was waiting for us and set off at full speed towards Veracruz. We made one last stop on the side of the road where a family served us the best grilled corn seasoned with butter, mayo, a local cheese and of course some hot spices. Just like when leaving, the bus left us in front of the hotel on the way back. I can only thank you for the fantastic experience you gave us!

Great experience! - Great trip! The transportation van had ample room, charging ports, AC and even a screen to show movies. Appreciated we stopped at a small restaurant halfway through the drive for breakfast. Tajín was a beautiful site to see. The guide provided us with so much information about the rich history of Tajín. Our last stop was in Papantla where we were free to roam the small town for an hour and a half. Wish we could have seen the voladores de Papantla but they only perform on weekends.
