Great organized transport - Wonderful experience. I would say to bring lunch +/- snacks with you along with cash. Many of the stops before we got to the trail did not take cash and I wasn't prepared for that. The transport was amazingly organized and efficient. The trail is gorgeous! The walking stick I got at one of the stops was helpful and would recommend if you have any joint or balance issues. I think it is fine without one but easier with one at the beginning. I appreciated that we didn't have to go as a group so we got to go at our own pace and everyone spread out naturally so the trail wasn't crowded.

Amazing scenery but hard hike - Beautiful scenery but very difficult hiking, walking on rocks and stones most of the time. Must take good hiking shoes, poles and snacks. Water fountains and toilets are available along the trail.

Very beautiful - The smell of the trees, the clarity of the river, and just the beauty of it all. The hike took us about five and half hours. Definitely have shoes that provide ankle support. We also were hiking at a pretty good pace, but didn’t make it down to the beach in time to go swimming. We had about 30 minutes before the boat was going to leave and decided we better get some food, because once on the boat, then it was get on the bus. The hotel restaurant closes at 9:30 and we wouldn’t get back until 10. wish we could have had maybe another 30 minutes so we could have enjoyed the water.

Very Strenuous but great gorge walk - For me a 60 something very overweight bloke this was challenging and maybe a bit too challenging but I did it and it's super impressive. It is hard work and the difficulty can detract from the experience if you not young or fit.

Well organized trip - Very well organized trip - timed with no unnecessary delays, a stopover on the way there and back was also good. The tour guide presents information charmingly in three languages. Only the somewhat late announcement of the meeting times - but that's probably due to the weather, to wait and see whether Sanmaria will be open. A brief information about this would have been good. Anyway, a great 5-hour hike with a final sea bath.

Difficult hike, not made any easier by this tour group - (1) This hike is difficult. Most people will judge a hike's difficulty by the length or the elevation gain. Neither of those numbers scared us away from this hike. The real killer here is that the trail is entirely rocky staircases. Even on the so-called flat part of the trail, it goes up and down constantly just a few feet at a time. The tour group you choose cannot change how difficult this hike is, so prepare yourself by wearing real hiking shoes and bringing walking sticks. (2) This tour group will not hold your hand on this hike, and are primarily there to offer transportation. It was mentioned many times that is possible to miss the bus home if you make a wrong turn and the tour group will not help you along the trail. I felt very rushed for the entirety of the hike, and felt like I could not stop to take pictures. Every interaction with our tour guide was that we were late and going to miss the bus, so we did not feel welcome at all on this tour. If you're thinking about going, my advice would be to stay closer to the gorge so that you can start the hike earlier and take your time, and probably choose a different tour group.

Amazing experience - The place was absolutely amazing. And for sure it's worth visiting. But I have to complain about the guide of that day. She was a bit boring. She explained things in a low volume and sometimes she was not so clear about the schedule of the day. I didn't understand almost anything of what she was saying when we where on the road. Beautiful experience anyway, I really recommend it!
