Opening up the wonders of Crete - I have been lucky enough to go on a number of tours with the fantastic Adventure Crete. It really is true to say that without their knowledgeable, skilled drivers and comfortable off-road vehicles it would be impossible to get to and see so many of the incredible but inaccessible places Crete has to offer. I couldn't recommend their tours more highly.

Custom adventure with experienced guide! - Tomas provided us with a custom tour specific to our request of seeing historical and archaeological sites as well as some amazing landscapes and natural wonders. He was knowledgeable and shared stories and history of Crete and the Minoan culture from beginning to end. We even did some 4X4 off reading when a bridge was out as he found an alternative route on two track mountain roads. We also stopped at an incredible mountainside restaurant for an authentic meal cooked over an open fire. The views all day were spectacular, and the stop at the peak of a mountain where we could see both the Aegean Sea to the north and the Lybian Sea to the south took my breath away.

Crete is beautiful-make sure you see as much of it as you can - Petra was a wonderful guide. We really enjoyed the personalized trip with the private tour and she did a great job of showing us as much of Crete as we could squeeze in yet it felt leisurely and relaxed too. Crete is an amazingly beautiful place and you should definitely book this tour to see as much of it as you can. We were on a cruise docked in Agios Nikolaos from 8-9 and had more than enough time to do this tour and explore.

Great trip! - Michael was amazing! We loved this tour. We are a family of 4, with two children in their 20's. Had a blast. Michael has a great understanding of Crete, the culture, and knew how to have fun. It was, of course, amazing to see the historic sites, but the biggest memory of our trip will be feeding the wild goats, and watching 20-30 of them come running from the mountains. Michael, aka the goat whisperer, was the best!

Great tour! - Michael was very informative and casual. We saw the entire developed island, learned the history, enjoyed the food. He was very empathetic towards our needs (car sickness). I would recommend this tour!

A very enjoyable experience - Our guide Petra was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She made the trip interesting. The food at the Taverna was fantastic and the host welcoming. The Raki was a boost too!

Fantastic! - Greatly enjoyed our VIP tour with Emmanuel as our driver/guide. We were able to see so much in our 8 hours together. He was waiting for the four of us when we got off the cruise ship. The walk up to Zeus cave was a bit much but we were rewarded with an amazing lunch following. Highly recommend!

Disappointed - We booked this tour 2 months in advance. When we got to the port, our guide met us at the terminal. As we headed out, we were detained by the port security for 90 minutes as they asked for the company’s registration and paperwork and our passports. An hour and a half into port security detention, our guide suggested that we would be better off cancelling because there was no end in sight. We walked away and missed the opportunity to see the island of Crete. Very disappointing.
