Totally recommend - We had booked the experience very last minute, so I was a bit worried that maybe our booking would get missed and no one would show up to take us to the tour. Turns out, I had nothing to worry about. On the day of the booking, we were supposed to meet our tour guide at 10 am, and I was ready and sitting in the lobby of the hotel at 9 am itself. I had noticed a car parked outside but I wasn’t sure if it was the same car. At 2 minutes to 10, Ante (Andrew) walked out of the car and greeted us. Andrew was wonderful…he gave us a wonderful quick course of the culture and history of Helsinki…he taught us about the Finnish culture of saunas, took us to cathedrals and libraries, and he even gave us the option to drop us to a place other than our pickup point so we could explore more after the trip. He customised the tour and his anecdotes basis what we would like and we really appreciated that. I would totally recommend this tour for anyone who has a short stay at Helsinki…it gives you the highlights but still doesn’t feel rushed.

Helsinki City tour - Cornelia was our guide and she was amazing. Her depth of knowledge was incredible. She was so engaging and the entire tour was fantastic! If you can book with her you will not be disappointed!!!

An amazing day! - From start to finish, our tour of Helsinki with Andrew (our awesome driver) and his co-worker Andrew (our awesome guide) was wonderful. Although it was a snowy day, we were safely driven to all of the locations listed in the itinerary, and were able to walk through the snow to experience life in the beautiful medieval town of Porvoo, enjoy coffee and delicious pastries in a lovely cafe there, see Helsinki’s absolutely stunning Central Library Oodi, walk through the historic Old Market Hall, and visit many other historically rich sites throughout the city of Helsinki. Our guide’s knowledge and interest in everything related to the history of Helsinki was amazing, and both he and our driver could not have been more pleasant and accommodating throughout the tour.

Wonderful personalized service - My tour guide was Christine. She was fabulous. The first thing shecdid was take a few moments to plan our day together, taking into consideration what I most wanted to see. She then also gave me additional choices and made recommendations. She made sure I was safe at all times given the slippery conditions. She not only could discuss all of the sites but also shared Finnish culture with me. Nikolai was our driver. He was efficient, a gentleman, and assisted me with a heavy piece of luggage. I highly recommend this tour and these two employees. I also now know where I want to go and what I want to see when I return in May.

Outstanding visit & tour. - Walking in Helsinki and Porvoo amplified what we heard and experienced in these cities. We chose a topic and Christine was able to talk to our desires. Well done!

Was a great day.... - Was a great day. Christine was amazing and full of knowledge. We travelled with our 8 year old, and Christine made the day amazing with young children, and as we asked to finish our day at the Oodi, timed it perfectly. The Oodi was a great place to finish, so the little one can play with other kids on the top floor play area

Wonderful experience for history lovers - Christine was wonderful ! She’s showed us around the city , gave us lots of fun facts about the city and recommended more things to see/do during our stay !

Well worth it - Cornelia the guide was excellent / very knowledgeable. Porvoo was a great contrast to downtown Helsinki. Library was amazing. Andrew the driver was quietly attentive.
