Amazing Tour - 10/10 recommend. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and interactive with the group. Be sure to bring snacks or buy food at any of the rest locations that the guide stops at. Make sure to wear the proper clothing, especially hiking boots and waterproof clothing. I would recommend wearing multiple layers to adjust as the weather can be unpredictable. Overall the tour was beautiful and took us to all the amazing sights on the Southern coast.

Nice excursion with just enough to do - Really enjoyed this trip. It delivered exactly as described! The waterfalls were magical and easy to get to. The black sand beaches were beautiful and there was plenty of time to explore and get lunch. We enjoyed the DC-3 plane and then a short stroll on the deserted beach. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

The perfect day with Arctic Adventures - Our tour with Martin from Arctic Adventures to south coast was great. Martin was entertaining and kept us engaged throughout the journey. His deep knowledge of the area added to the experience, and his sense of humor made the trip enjoyable. We visited 2 waterfalls, the black sand beach and the DC-3 airplane wreck was breathtaking, and Martin's guidance made it truly special. We highly recommend both Martin and Arctic Adventures

AMAZING! 6 stars! * - Vjeran! We give you 6 stars! We went on the south of Iceland tour. Vjeran, our guide, well and truly went above and beyond and made it a memorable day. He was clearly very experienced and passionate. He gave us interesting and insightful commentary as he drove us in very challenging conditions. Great sense of humour too. He was even lying on the floor in the snow taking photos for people. Highly recommended.

Geological interest! - The beach was amazing, as were the waterfalls. The plane to me was not interesting but the land the plane was on was fascinating. So much area with so little life!

Recommend this trip - We thoroughly enjoyed this trip but sadly our bus broke down on the way and because of the time we lost we only got to spend 20 minutes on Reynisfjara beach which wasn’t long enough. For anyone concerned about walking to the plane wreck, there is a shuttle bus which drops you near to the plane and picks you up either half an hour or one hour later. The only down side to the trip is that the bus is shared with people doing a glacier hike instead of the plane wreck and we had to sit in the bus for over an hour waiting for them. If you plan to go maybe take a book.

Bad start, great finish. - Let me start by saying Casper our tour guide was amazing and made a bad start to the day better… He is the only reason I gave this review 4 stars. Our tour did NOT start out well. We were waiting outside the hotel at 7:55am for an 8am pickup at the Hilton. At 8:30 I see I received a message on TripAdvisor saying they waited and left without us. I then had the front desk call Arctic Adventures and they basically suggested I was lying and not outside at the time of pickup. Front desk at the Hilton vouched for us by telling them we have been outside and no Arctic Adventures van has showed up. I spoke with Sare several times who was not very helpful at all. Eventually a man from the office called me and had a driver from a different tour pick us up and take us to the first stop where we met up with Casper and our bus. The sights on the tour were fantastic. Reynisfjara black sand beach, DC-3 crash and the glacier were great. Again Casper saved the day for Arctic Adventures. It appears management does not run a quality operation, but the two tour guides we encountered were excellent. I can’t say I’d recommend using this company again. Every other tour company confirmed the day before with exact pickup time amd place to be. Arctic did not. I also didn’t like to be made a fool of and basically have the office people call me and my family liars.
