As we traverse the southern coastline, the raw and striking vibrancy of nature’s strength will be on full display. The scenic grandeur of the south belies description. Experience unique features like the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, that one can actually walk behind, the black-tinted beaches, towering mountains, sheer cliffs, icy glaciers and myriad lava formations including columnar basalt, which may appear manmade to some.

Our journey will have us crossing paths with old and newly established farms, diverse agricultural scenery, and abundant avian life. You may even spot a puffin or more. We will explore the vicinity of the Eyjafjallajokull, the volcano that erupted in 2010, causing a halt in all Atlantic air traffic.
