The meeting point is at the Viking Adventure Visitor Center 300 metres from the cruise terminal.
Arriving by cruise? Follow the road towards the city center. With the big blue hall on your right hand side you walk straight. Look for our Viking Adventure signs and green beach flags.

Excellent short Haugesund Tour - An excellent tour in a very nice luxury minibus. Alphonse was a very good interesting guide. He gave us loads of facts about Norwegian life. We made 3 stops....one at a viewpoint, the Rising Tides Statue and lastly at the National Monument. The time allocated for each stop was just right!

Great cycle ride - Johannes was a great guide to take us round. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was also very friendly and personable. Would highly recommend.

Excellent excursion on a first visit to Haugesund - This was an excellent short sightseeing trip in Haugesund. We were on a cruise on Iona and hadn’t pre booked this but just walked from the cruise port, following signs to “Viking Adventure” and booked our trip. They seem a really nice company to use and we were well looked after. Our guide, Alphonse, was friendly and informative. We took some great photos at the viewpoint and at the Rising Tides. I would highly recommend this tour if it’s your first visit to Haugesund. If we visit again we will do one of the longer tours by Viking Adventure.

Luxury minibus, small... - Luxury minibus, small party , very friendly and local guide gave lots of information.
Easy to find meeting location a short walk from ship.

Book with these people! - This is the place to book your sightseeing tour. Less than 10 mins walk from the cruise terminal, it’s a great welcome and a well organised tour. The guides are superb and the visit to the sheep farm above town was a hoot and gave us some amazing views from of the town. Coach dropped us off at the cruise terminal, perfect service.

Great tour! If you're unsure what to do, this is a good all rounder. - Great tour of Haugesund! Was unsure what to do in this port as the sunnmore museum was closed so found this tour which included the rising tides, king of Norway monument and a fantastic view point high up! Was great for my mum too who can't walk too far so this was great to see plenty without the miles of walking if needed. And our guide was fantastic!

Well worth the visit - Wonderful tour excellent guide and driver.
The reasons for the 4 rather than 5 star rating are twofold
1. The base was rather hard to locate and could do with better signposting.
2. The track to the farm was extremely steep and the gravel made it difficult to walk in parts.

Interesting Tour - A very interesting tour around some of Haugesunds landmarks. Alfons, our guide, was knowledgeable and informative. The tour was well planned and stops of about the right length. Maybe a little more time at the Rising Tides, but that is a personal preference.

Unrealistic schedule - An hour and a half tour is unrealistic, especially when run back-to-back. The bus arrived late and we were rushed at each stop. The last of the three was for six minutes, not long enough to even walk to the two points of interest, barely long enough to take a selfie.
