A very nice visit to a lovely place for cruisers! - We needed a short excursion that was walkable from our cruise ship. We enjoyed seeing this part of such a lovely country. Our tour guide was knowledgeable without being overly chatty, and the bus was very comfortable and easily accessed for most.

Great tour to see key sites - A fantastic trip that allowed us to see the key sites and learn a lot more about the local area and Norwegian history. Alphonse our guide was super knowledgable and friendly. Really great that we were also dropped in town at the end of the trip as it saved young legs. Would recommend this trip.

Comfortable - We had booked the trip while cruising to haugesund. Viking adventure was just 10 min walk from port. The instruction was clear and easy to follow. The office has seating area and toilets. The bus ride was comfortable. Alfons was very informative, engaging and has a good sense of humour.

An excellent tour of the Haugesund township. - Very interesting tour of the local highlight and the guide - Susie? - an ex-schoolteacher was excellent. She gave us a good insight into local living. An excellent tour, very pleased. Only 2 issues:- 1. I received a text the day prior to the tour saying that as our cruise was having to leave early due to windy weather, our tour would now commence at 08h30 rather than 09h30. This was impossible as our cruise was not scheduled to arrive until 08h30 and we were told that the meeting point was 300 metres from the port. This caused us some concern that evening but we received a reply to our text on the morning, just before docking, confirming that the tour would start at 09h30 after all. 2. The information did state that the meeting point was some 300 metres from the port but did not mention a slight uphill walk. My wife has a serious lung problem and was only able to walk 200 metres before having to rest. I continued to the meeting point and everyone was so helpful saying that my wife would be collected en-route which she was. This slight uphill walk should perhaps be mentioned on the website for those with difficulty in walking or, alternatively, an offer made to collect clients from the port for those with mobility issues.if this is possible. All was well in the end and we would certainly recommend this tour to family and friends.

Top notch experience - Absolutely delighted with this tour! The mini bus was wonderful with leather seats! Our tour guide Alphonse was excellent and he shares so much information about Norwegian life! Just about the right amount at each stop. Excellent value for money. Very happy!

Great introduction to Haugesund. - Short but introductory tour of the main sights in Haugesund. Alphons our guide was superb. Very approachable and friendly and commentary was great. Would have liked slightly hire time as 10 mins at the Rising Tides and National monument wasn’t really enough.

Unrealistic schedule - An hour and a half tour is unrealistic, especially when run back-to-back. The bus arrived late and we were rushed at each stop. The last of the three was for six minutes, not long enough to even walk to the two points of interest, barely long enough to take a selfie.

You only get 5 minutes at each stop. - Good stops but you are only allowed 5 minutes at each stop. You spend far longer in the bus than at the sites. As you walk of the bus, the tour guide tells you to return in 5 minutes. Barely enough time to walk to the viewpoint and take a photo. Not enjoyable.
