As the Pigeon River exits the more precipitous areas of the gorge, it becomes somewhat tranquil. Starting from our survey post, the Lower Section of the Pigeon River is ideal for those seeking a picturesque rafting journey through the Smoky Mountains. It is accessible to individuals aged 3 and above. No prior experience is needed, and each raft will be accompanied by one of our expert guides.
- Minimum age: 3 years old
- Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment,
- Including a PFD (aka life jacket), helmet and paddle.
- After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.
- All guest must have secured shoes on, NO FLIP FLOPS / NO BARE FEET

Everyone enjoyed the... - Everyone enjoyed the scenic float. Very kid friendly and the guides were great! At the end there was an opportunity for the older kids to jump off and do some swimming which they very much enjoyed !

Great time!!! - Johnny B was a great guide! Our church youth group had a blast floating down the river. They even got out of the rafts and swam a bit! So much fun!

Awesome Guide and Great Time - We had an awesome time and we had the best river guide, Caeden. He was very knowledgeable, energetic and fun to talk with. He did his best to make sure we all had fun. We’ll definitely go back for the white water ride and hopefully Caeden will still be there.

Super fun adventure for families! - Our family of 5 took the scenic rafting option, as it was our first time rafting and we have 3 children (boy 11, girl 9, boy 6). We really lucked out having Jason as our guide! He guided us through some fun little rapid areas that were safe but felt super adventurous for the kids. He was so informative and just made it such a great experience for all of us. Definitely the highlight of our trip. Now our kids want to be white water rafters like Jason :) Thanks so much for the memories and our new found love of rafting!

Cancelled trip with no warning!! - The trip was cancelled no warning. Drove 450 miles for nothing. Water was low they should have know before we traveled so far.
