A highlight is the grotto, adorned with colorful glass mosaics by artist Niki de Saint Phalle.

This baroque garden treasure in Hanover is thanks to the remarkable Elector Sophie of the Palatinate. Inspired by the Sun King Louis XIV, she commissioned the 200-acre garden in the late 17th century, modeling it after French designs, and dedicated her life to its creation.
