An enlightening visit to Uncle Ho's! - When entering the Ho Chi Minh museum I was approached by Dan, a friendly high school student offering a free one hour tour of the museum. I was delighted as I knew very little about "Uncle Ho" (which I'm ashamed to admit). Around 2 and half hours later I was tremendously enlightened! Not only did Dan show me around and give me a great rundown on HCM's life, but she gave me a big history lesson about Vietnam and its development before and after colonialism. We also discussed modern socialist and democratic politics around the world. Dan is an incredibly intellect for only 16 years of age! At the end I felt terribly guilty that I had nothing to give Dan to thank her, and she wouldn't even accept me buying a fruit juice for her! This is a remarkable service offered to visitors, and just goes to show the hospitality of the Vietnamese people. Ho Chi Minh's life was remarkable, and all I want to do now is read more about him! Thank you Dan for sharing your remarkable knowledge and being so generous with your time.

Unexpected tour guide for museum. Friendly and informative. Strongly recommend - A Hanoi private tour guide offered us a tour of the Ho Chi Minh Museum at the entryway of the museum. We ended up having 2 tour guides for 3 guests. They were both great! They provided a cohesive guide to the life and impact of Ho Chi Minh. They answered our questions and were warm and friendly. Would strongly recommend this company.

Museum tour - Our guide Gracie was amazing, very attentive and explicit. Even before we began she offered to make the tour as custom as we wanted, always going with our mood and interest. We spent more than two hours in the Ho Chi Minh museum learning a loot- Gracy is like an encyclopedia of history, strongly recommend this amazing lady!
