Good tour - ChatGPT said: The tour was absolutely fantastic. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, which made everything even more enjoyable. We explored amazing locations, tasted delicious food, and learned so much about the local culture and history. Everything was well-paced — not rushed, yet never boring. It felt personal

Insightful, Honest, and Heartfelt – A Must-Do Tour - This Vietnam War tour, led by three passionate young Vietnamese students, was the highlight of our trip. Their excellent English, deep historical knowledge, and personal family stories gave the tour a unique, human perspective we hadn’t experienced elsewhere. They were warm, engaging, and open to meaningful dialogue about a complex and emotional history. Visiting key sites in Hanoi while hearing both facts and reflections from their generation made the experience powerful and unforgettable. We left feeling enlightened, moved, and full of respect. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a thoughtful, authentic understanding of Vietnam’s past.

We enjoyed our private tour with Grace - Grace is such a wonderful person! She's super kind and informative, and we really appreciate everything she does. Her English is great, too! I can't recommend her enough. Thank you so much for all your help, Grace! Sorry for the delay in my review—I really meant to share this sooner!

Exceptional experience into Vietnam’s history. - This tour provided an in depth history of Vietnam including its struggle for independence starting from BC to the modern day. the best part about this tour was our tour guide- Truong (aka: Scorpio) who shared his passionate and in depth knowledge of Vietnam’s history that beyond the museum exhibits and artefacts. Truong was , in time, organised, polite, engaging and always ready to answer our questions and made this tour an unforgettable experience. Thank you!

The Ho Chi Minh Complex - David was amazing. He contacted me the night before and confirmed and was on time next morning at our hotel. We had tired ourselves out the day before so rather than rush, we decided to concentrate on the Ho Chi Minh complex The viewing at the Mausoleum was very moving, reverent and controlled strictly by the Guards- no talking, nothing on your head and no photos The Museum was well laid out and set up. David is very knowledgeable and very patient. His knowledge of Vietnamese history was shared with us, though not in a condescending way. He took the time to explain the history and also what was happening now in Vietnam Although we had contracted him for a longer tour, the heat and humidity's beat us and we came back to the hotel early

Tour and our guide, Tom, were great. We learned so much. - We would highly recommend this tour and also Tom, our guide, who was very knowledgeable, attentive and spoke excellent English. Very sobering content at the sites visited but presents the Vietnamese perspective over their recent history very well and in convincing way. Highlight was the Ho Chi Minh Museum (apart from their toilets which were really bad).

Healthy open discussion of the war - I had a great four hour tour with my guide Chien who was very friendly and knowledgeable. We began our journey with a taxi ride to the B-52 Museum which is small but very interesting. I am a retired history teacher so Chien an I asked and answered a lot of questions of each other throughout the day. We next walked to the Ho Chi Minh Museum and Chien painted a solid portrait of the man. Finally, we walked to the Hanoi Hilton which was very interesting. Lastly, he walked me back to my hotel. Chien is a wonderful guide and gentleman!

Fabulous 👌 👏 - We had Hannah as our guide ,she was very prompt and easy to get on with. My husband is ex military and she learnt a lot from him as well. We also had a taste of what it is like to live like a local. Thoroughly enjoyed our day , she went above and beyond to make this a wonderful day. If you decide to do this you are the person responsible for taxi, her lunch and we tipped well because she is doing this for free. We'll worth it ! You need a guide for the Hoa lu prison to understand it better. Fabulous
