A Must! - Our favourite day in Hanoi! From the welcome, to learning how to cross the road (safely!), to the market experience, and then the inclusive cooking & dining experience. Loved hearing the history of Vietnam from a culinary perspective.

Hands on cooking class with a delicious meal at the end of it! - The street food cooking class with market visit was a highlight of my weekend sightseeing in Hanoi. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers and had the most fun learning how to prepare bun cha and nem. The instructor Ms. Oanh was so knowledgeable and shared so much about typical life in Hanoi and her own experience growing up and now raising a family of her own. Her helper Ms. Thuy was lovely and kept our food prep on track. At the end, we enjoyed a delicious meal that left my kids asking for second helpings. The setting for the class is a lovely kitchen tucked away in an interior courtyard that is landscaped and so peaceful. The market tour was lively with all the local Vietnamese families out shopping for Sunday dinner. I would definitely take another class with Hidden Hanoi and learn how to prepare another typical dish.

Absolutely amazing! - I wish I could give Nikita and Hidden Hanoi a 10! Don’t think twice about booking an experience with her. We learnt so much besides how to make the delicious meal we ate - how the markets work, history, culture, living with teens, and so much more. This was what we want our holiday to be about: making memories.

Cooking class with Nikita - Great experience @ hidden Hanoi! We had our cooking class held by Nikita, experiencing the real street food recipes. She has been a fantastic host, we lived a real Vietnamese morning, cooking together and talking about local food & life habits! And the food was amazing! Cam on Oahn, from the bottom of our hearts :)

Perfect last day - We had such a great time at the cooking class! Lana who led our session was so friendly and full of interesting facts and stories about Hanoi and Vietnam in general. But the real stand out has to be the food we cooked - helped by both Lana and expert Mrs Tui! Truly delicious. It was our last day before leaving the country and it ended up being the perfect memory to take with us back home. Could not recommend more.

Don’t miss this one - This cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip! Our cooking instructor Lana was amazing and very informative - her English was excellent and the food was so tasty. Highly recommend.

Perfect start for a vietnam trip - Thank you Lana, it was such a warm welcome to Vietnam and Hanoi. We learned so much about the delicious food and dishes. It was not only how to cook tasty Nem and Bun Chan but also so much background and vietnamese culture and lifestyle. Stuffed and happy! :-D

Great Vietnamese cooking experience - Fascinating walk thru markets then fun cooking fresh food in authentic Vietnamese style. Great for a novice and tasted amazing!

Delicious Food and Fun Tour - Our guide Lana was very knowledgeable and skilled and also a delight to talk with! We (me and three friends) made the Bun Cha street food with Fried Nem, and did a tour of the nearby market. The food turned out delicious, and Lana and the other chef (I didn't catch her name) were excellent at managing the kitchen and made sure we all were learning something and had something to do. We cut veggies and meat, arranged the pork in the grill traps, rolled the Nem, and then fried the nem and grilled (and fanned the grill!) the pork. There was also fresh fruit and tea at several points throughout the session. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone, from the uninitiated cook to the master amateur chef, there will be something to learn and a great time to be had!
