HANOI CITY TOUR - NIGHT TRAIN TO LAO CAI (B)

Vietnam Museum of Ethnology - After breakfast, check out and leave your luggage at the hotel’s storage or reception.

In the afternoon, visit the Vietnam Ethnology Museum, which showcases the vibrant cultures of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups through exhibits, traditional costumes, and festivals. It’s a fascinating place for both tourists and researchers to learn about Vietnam’s history and culture. Continue your tour with a traditional Water Puppet Show, a favorite experience for visitors to Vietnam.

Enjoy some free time to have tea or coffee or explore around Hoan Kiem Lake. Alternatively, return to the hotel and wait for the guide to take you to Hanoi train station for the night train to Lao Cai at 22:00. Dinner is on your own.

LAO CAI STATION – SAPA – MA TRA – TA PHIN VILLAGE (B/L/D)

Ta Phin Village - The train arrives in Lao Cai around 6:30 am. Meet our local guide and transfer to Sapa Town. Check in to the hotel if the room is available. If not, leave your luggage at the reception, have breakfast, and start your Sapa adventure.

We will head from Sapa to Ma Tra village, 5 km northeast of Sapa, by jeep. From Ma Tra, we will trek 9 km through the forest to Ta Phin. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. Upon reaching Ta Phin village, you’ll learn about the daily life, handicraft traditions, and customs of the Red Dzao tribe. Your Dao host family will warmly welcome you to their traditional home, where we will share an ethnic-style dinner and stay the night.

TA PHIN – SIN CHAI – SAPA – HAM RONG MOUNTAIN (B)

Terraced Rice Fields in Sin Chai Village - At dawn, experience the sounds of morning village life. You can join in activities like feeding animals, cleaning the house, gardening, or preparing breakfast.

After breakfast, we will complete our trek on a valley route to the main road (4 hours) linking Lao Cai and Sapa. Additionally, visit Sin Chai village to further explore its beauty. For a shorter trek, you can wander around the village for about an hour, allowing more time with the host family and other villagers. Afterward, return to Sapa Town (30-minute drive). Lunch is on your own.

In the afternoon, around 14:30, visit the beautiful gardens of Ham Rong Mountain and enjoy a traditional ethnic music performance. Then, return at your leisure with free time to explore this colorful town. In the evening, you can experience local street BBQ or have a romantic dinner at a local restaurant with a great view of the town.

SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE – NIGHT TRAIN BACK TO HANOI (B)

Cat Cat Village - Wake up in Sapa town, have breakfast at the hotel, and enjoy the morning with new friends you may have met the day before. You have the entire morning and lunch free to explore and visit the lively markets.

In the afternoon, visit the Hmong village of Cat Cat to learn about the Hmong people in an area close to the tourist path but still untouched. See the old French dam and beautiful terraced fields. Return to Sapa in the late afternoon and depart for Lao Cai train station at 5:30 pm. Dinner is on your own in Lao Cai.

HANOI – HA LONG – BAI TU LONG BAY – CONG DO – CAP LA ISLAND

Halong Bay - Arrive at Hanoi train station at 5:30 am. Our guide will welcome you and transfer you to a restaurant/hotel for a short rest and breakfast.

Today, depart for Ha Long Bay, a must-see destination for visitors to Vietnam. After a 3.5-hour drive through the countryside, we arrive at the harbor. At 12:00, the junk crew will welcome guests on board. Relax with a cup of tea or coffee while waiting for the captain to complete the registration. Transfer by tender to our boat, receive a safety briefing, and check into your cabin. Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese set menu while cruising into Bai Tu Long Bay. Around 15:00, arrive at the kayaking area – Cap La Island. Enjoy kayaking, swimming, and relaxing. Return to the boat for a sunset party while cruising to the overnight anchorage.

At 19:00, enjoy a sumptuous set dinner onboard. Then, have free time to try Vietnamese puzzle games, gather for a board game, try your luck with squid fishing, or simply enjoy a cocktail and the quiet night on the bay.

BAI TU LONG – THIEN CANH SON CAVE – HON GAI HARBOR - HANOI (B/L)

Bai Tu Long Bay - Wake up early for a beautiful sunrise and fresh ocean air. Start your day with Tai Chi on the sundeck or enjoy the stunning bay views with a cup of tea or coffee. Breakfast will be served in a Western style to energize you for the day.

Today, explore the hidden lagoons in Bai Tu Long Bay - Thien Canh Son Cave. Return to the boat to freshen up and finish packing. At 10:00, participate in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. Learn to make a simple but delicious Vietnamese dish – Nem Cuon, or try your hand at fruit and vegetable carving. Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch on the boat. Around 12:00, return to the harbor and disembark at Hon Gai pier. Say farewell to Halong Bay and take the bus back to Hanoi.

Enjoy free time to explore Hanoi and try local food on your own.
