Easter Island top spots as solo traveler in private guided tour - This private tour was exactly as advertised and I had a great time with my guide, Bai. Informative, laid back, and casual which is what I prefer as a solo traveler. Definitely recommend!

Don’t miss seeing Factory of the Moai tour! - This was a wonderful tour. Our guide, Javier, was knowledgeable and patient. This tour requires some walking over rough steps and paths and Javier took his time and made sure we were ok every step of the way. He even took us to the Mercado to buy souvenirs. I can’t imagine a trip to the island without seeing the factory of the Moai! Seeing where and how they were made was amazing. Javier brought it to life!

Extraordinary - We spent 4 days on Rapa Nui in 2014, when it was possible to "self drive/guide" all around the island. We are glad that guides are now required because it is not only good for the local economy, but it is much more educational for the visitors. We strongly recommend flying to Rapa Nui and spending a few days vs. the 5+ days at sea on a cruise ship that will only provide, at most, a day and a half on the island.

The best local guides! - We booked this tour last minute because another tour was cancelled. There were some miscommunications with the booking, but we all made the best of it and had a great day! We went out with Tamaragi Arevalo and Kavere from Haka Tari Tours and they were wonderful. I was grateful to learn from them and have a tour guided by local Rapa Nui people.

History and wonder in such a peaceful place - Roberto is such a knowledge resource and passionate about the island people - truly a compassionate and wonderful tour guide!

Factory of titans - This was a second tour with Mai, who again went out of her way to help us understand island culture, then and now. The mountain where the moai were carved is a phenomenon. You can see finished statues as well as ones that are incomplete or failures. It gives you a real perspective on how it was all done. The economic and cultural aspects are especially fascinating to me, and Mai went above and beyond fielding questions about those.

A terrific day touring the moai sites in Easter Island - The tour was terrific. The guide, Hugo, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very happy to share the history of Easter Island. He picked us up at our hotel and was accommodating as to us taking pictures at the various sites. Thank you for a wonderful day of learning about this beautiful part of the world!

Absolutely epic - Picked up from hotel by local Vaihere She was very knowledgeable and friendly She did a lap of most of the island with us It shows first some of the heads that have fallen over due to time, tribal wars, tsunamis etc Guide gives you good history and context Then you arrive at reconstructed villages that help you feel the life they had Then you start to see the factory in the distance and it looks so amazing and you can feel the energy from it even at distance Then you tour the factory You can see tongariki from the mountain factory again holding a really captivating energy Then you go to see the most impressive statues standing at tongariki Then we viewed some more natural attractions at the island and finished with the beach Vaihere dropped us home Absolutely amazing

Great Full Day Tour - Bai did an excellent job of showing me around the island and explaining the history behind the Moai, she is from the island so has so much context to share. Very thorough and pleasant experience.
