A great experience - We travelled as a group of 3 adults and 3 children (15, 14 and 7 years). Everyone was very happy with the tour and Ali is the perfect host. Thank you very much!

A Saharan night - Fantastic experience! We stayed the night between March 30th and 31st at the camp outside Douz and had a really good time. Since we had a rental car, the agency manager, Ali, promptly found us a safe garage in the center of Douz. From there a jeep took us into the desert and what can I say... a real tent in the Sahara. Stupendous! Dinner was freshly prepared by the excellent Mohammed who entertained us for the rest of the evening with local Bedouin melodies. Night under a starry and uncontaminated sky in the tent... wonderful (apart from a few little insects outside :)) We thank Mohamed and Ali for the unique hospitality! Sinatra family

Maximum Tunisia! - Ali coordinated a wonderful trip! My guide Houssem was so kind, he spoke English, and accompanied me across Tunisia in a smooth VW sports car. Houssem picked me up from my hotel and we saw so much it was incredible. The best part was how small the whole arrangement was. For example, along the way I saw giant busses of tourists show up. But most of the time it was just Houssem and I. He is from Tunisia and was able to tell me some personal anecdotes about the places we visited, and life in Tunisia. Personally, I like that sometimes we just drove without talking (some tours talk at you non-stop and it gets claustrophobic), the vibe here is very chill. Let’s the sites speak for themselves. In Tozeur, I was able to go shopping and find some gorgeous ceramic plates and hand woven rugs in a more relaxed shopping experience than in the capital. Plus, the meals along the way were well timed and delicious! The Sahara team that drove me to the camping/glamping site were so peaceful and happy. A night deep in the Sahara is a once-in-lifetime experience! Heads up, there is a lot of driving. Sometimes, 5 hour stretches of mountains and deserts. Plus the road to the camp is in a 4x4 driving through sand. This tour packs a lot in, while it could be seen in 3 or 4 days, or more! Just know, this is a road adventure. I’m from Dallas, Texas and will recommend this tour to all my friends. I hope they have the courage to go for it. You’ll have fond memories for life from this trip!

An experience to remember! - What a great way to jam pack a lot of experiences into only two days! By far the most surreal and wonderful experience was the night in the Sahara. My two hosts in the Sahara were wonderful. Mohammed was an impressive person and watching him make bread in the embers of the fire was just one of his many talents. Loved this experience and highly recommend. Two tips: dress for weather about 10 degrees cooler than expected. The tent and linens were very warm, but dinner time was slightly colder weather than expected. Luckily I had warmer items to layer up :) Tip 2: the drive back takes about 6 and a half hours. Completely worth it but a good thing to remember. :):)

Eye-popping images - We spent 2 memorable days in this dazzling desert accompanied by very kind people. This trip, organized at the last minute by Ali, was simply magical with visits, chosen by our guide Adel, of cultural richness and breathtaking beauty. Thanks also to our driver Aymen, and to the desert camp managers Abdel-Majid and Lassaad. They surprised us with a birthday cake for our daughter who was celebrating her 17th birthday accompanied by a delicious meal. Let's not forget to mention a magical moment with this breakfast at sunrise with its incredible bread baked in the embers: a delight. We hope to return to Tunisia and introduce our friends to these beautiful Oases by reorganizing a new outing with Ali and his team. Lucie, Rahno, Elsa and Daphné

Two unforgettable days - Before we started our vacation, we contacted Ali via WhatsApp and were able to make many arrangements. This made it possible to start this great two-day tour from Mahdia. At 7 a.m. sharp, Ahmet, our wonderful driver, picked us up from the hotel in a brand new VW. The tour began with a trip to the Colosseum of El Djem, where we were the first visitors of the day and were thus able to explore this great sight all by ourselves. We then visited the historical museum (the entrance tickets are valid for both). We then continued to the mountain villages of Matmata, where we were first allowed to stay with a Berber family and then had lunch at the Hotel Sidi Driss. Ahmed explained a lot to us during the trip and kept stopping for great photos. After a long drive, we reached Douz, where we had time for a very nice little desert tour by camel or quad. We then met up with Ali, Majid and Lassad just outside of Douz, with whom we drove about 8 km into the desert. A tent suddenly appeared out of nowhere - our overnight accommodation. While the three men prepared a fresh, delicious meal and seating, we experienced a fantastic sunset. Afterwards we were able to eat our fill of couscous with lamb and delicious salad. After that there was a special surprise: Ali had brought a cake, which Lassad and Majid presented to me with music and singing. I also received a present from Ali, which now has a place of honor in the living room :) . We spent a great evening with many interesting conversations and a wonderful night in the desert, where we slept in the tent in sleeping bags on camp beds. The next morning we set off after a wonderful desert sunrise and a delicious breakfast with freshly baked bread. We met up with Ahmet again and said goodbye to our three new friends. We then continued on the route via the large salt lake Chott el Djerid to Tozeur, where we explored the very beautiful Medina. Afterwards, our route took us to the mountain oasis of Chebika, where we were able to marvel at the fascinating landscape and learn a lot of interesting facts. The last stop on our trip was the Tamerza waterfall. After lunch, we set off on the long journey back to Mahdia. It was two very eventful and unforgettable days and a brilliant night in the desert. This trip is highly recommended and will remain unforgettable! Thank you for everything, Ali! Best wishes to Ahmet, Lassad and Majid!

An adventure to enjoy as a family. - We left as a family with 3 grown children for 2 tailor-made days combining the historical and cultural discovery of the region and a night in a bivouac in the desert. This experience was incredibly rich and intense. Ali and his team listened to us and managed to adapt to quickly organize a tailor-made course. A great historical knowledge, a great kindness as well as a great sincerity won over each member of the family.

What happiness! - A magical 2-day excursion in southern Tunisia that will remain engraved in our ❤️. Magnificent landscapes, wonderful people (Bilel, Majid, Mohammed) with whom we shared very good and lovely moments. An unforgettable night in the desert, in a Berber camp under the sparkling and shooting stars, the most romantic of our lives. Thank you very much to Ali and his entire wonderful team. To do ! - We have just spent 2 great and intense days. The time is ideal for a night in the desert. We were accompanied by a driver Hammed, who informed us well about the Tunisian way of life. You should know that this tour involves a lot of kilometers but we were in an almost new rental car. The sites visited and all the meals are of quality. A good immersion in Tunisia... Ali, the boss of the agency is friendly and often contacted our driver. It's very professional! Habib who takes care of the night in the desert is very kind and really wants to share with us the Berber way of life in the desert with a Tunisian couscous prepared over a wood fire.
