We offer premium gear! All essential hiking equipment is included in the price, such as backpacks, trekking poles, bear spray, and more.

During your hike, gain insights into the Bitterroot’s ecology by identifying plants and animals along the way. Join a hike in July or August for a chance to pick huckleberries! You’ll also learn about the local geology and identify various rocks and minerals.

Enjoy delicious snack options like trail mix, beef jerky (vegan options available!), fig bars, fruit leather, and chocolate cookies!

Your guide will be equipped with a water filter, first aid kit, Garmin GPS communicator, and other essentials like toiletries for a backcountry adventure. They are certified as a wilderness first responder, leave no trace practitioner, and food handler.

• Must be able to hike 6 - 8 mi, up 2000 ft. No mountain climbing involved.
• Must be able to climb over downed trees at waist height and step across creeks on stones that may not be stable.
