Eat your way through the beautiful Halifax Harbourfront on our Halifax Harbourfront Food Walking Tour!
Your tour will begin with your friendly local guide meeting you outside of the Marriott Harbourfront Hotel. You will begin your food journey with some deliciously fresh oysters.
On your way to your next destination you will pass by the Halifax ferry terminal as well as the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic along the way. At your second food stop you will receive a creamy seafood chowder.
After you have finished your soup, you will head to your next tasty stop for an incredible donair. This unique Halifax wrap is an absolute must-try during your visit.
For your last stop, you will have an incredibly fresh and delectable lobster roll. Alongside the roll you will also receive a sweet dessert to round off your food adventure. Take in the waterfront while satisfying your cravings as your tasty tour comes to a close.

So Much Fun I Did It Twice. - This is an Erik only review as Cheryl did not go. Took this tour on August 23rd, 2023. My guide Sarah arrived on time and ready to go. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The tour had numerous stops for food. I had seafood chowder, donair, lobster roll with fries, oysters and ice cream. All the food items were delicious. You will get plenty of walking in on this tour, which is good as you get plenty of food. This trip was so much fun I did it again on August 25th, 2023. I give this tour my highest recommendation. Thanks Sarah!

Perfect - Food was great, from the oysters, clam chowder, lobster rolls, donair and ice cream. Sue was knowledgeable and it was a great walk! A highlight of our trip!

Great Foodie Tour - We had a great time sampling food in the harbor area of Halifax Sarah and Susie knew so much about the area. It was fun and FILLING! We had all kinds of delicious quality food. And learned a lot about the area.

Eating our way through Halifax - Sarah, our guide for the group of five was absolutely fantastic. She was super knowledgeable, quite funny and just pleasant. We felt like we had been friends for life, even though this was the first time we met her. She was very open for questions and always knew the answers. I highly recommend this tour as a great way to learn about Halifax both inside and out.

Great variety of food - We left feeling stuffed after enjoying a fantastic five course food tour of traditional Halifax cuisine. I tried raw oysters for the first and it wasn’t that bad. Thank goodness for horseradish.

Halifax for a Foodie - Local guide gave us a sense of the community and a good walk around the area - the food included the locals items we would not order a whole meal of - so we enjoyed many items on our list and we did get to enyou them - funr and enjoyable walk

Great food and boardwalk tour - We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour. The boardwalk area is very enjoyable. We had the best seafood chowder in Nova Scotia! After oysters, donairs and lobster rolls, we were too full to have ice cream. Our tour guide was delightful and very accommodating to my elderly father. I would recommend this tour.

Oysters, chowder and more! - All the food was excellent except the ice cream/dessert. And it was a lot of food-we were stuffed. The ice cream had "cotton candy" around it and it melted quickly into a very sticky mess. The ice cream was good, but the sticky droplets got on my clothes. Also, the itinerary says you go to the Maritime Museum, but we didn't and guide said it wasn't on the list. I don't think we could have had time to see it anyway, but perhaps it should be removed from the tour description. We still enjoyed the tour. We've done food tours in many cities and it is a great way to sample local food and get some history.
