  • Start by two Appetizers - The class will start by preparing the famous Papaya Salad and the perfect Fried Spring Rolls.
  • Making two Desserts - Mango Sticky Rice and Pumpkin in Coconut Milk
  • Three Akha Dishes - In Akha traditions, every meal must have a Chilli Sauce (Sapi Thong), one Salad, and one Soup.
  • Pick one out of four Curry and Curry Paste - You can choose one of the four most popular Thai curries; Red curry, Green curry, Panang curry, or the Massaman curry.
  • Pick one out of three Soup - You can choose between the Chicken & Coconut Milk (Tom Kha Gai), the Hot and Sour Prawn Soup (Tom Yum Gong), or the Clear Soup & Egg Tofu
  • Pick one out of four Stir-Fried - You can choose Pad Thai, Chicken with Cashew Nut, Chicken with Hot Basil, or Sweet and Sour Vegetables.

Jasmine rocks - Jasmine expertly led the class in preparing several delicious dishes. She kept track of who was cooking what, she gave us choices about which dishes to prepare, and every dish from appetizer to dessert was fabulous.

An excellent experience for anyone interested in Thai and Akha cuisine - We loved this class! Our instructor Jasmine was helpful, informative, and funny. She gave us a wonderful tour of the market and gave us samples of some northern food. She also showed us the ingredients that we would use later that day. The class itself was very well organized. In our group we had a mix of novice and experienced chefs, and we thought everyone was able to participate and learn a lot. The instructor did a great job of managing multiple people at the same time. We appreciated the pace of the class- we would cook a dish or two, then break and eat. Then cook some more, break and eat. The dishes were enough to get a great taste, but small enough that you didn’t get outrageously full. This class is fun, informative, and delicious. We quite literally enjoyed every minute of it, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this class to anyone.

Great class! - Our instructor Nikon was great. He went through all the steps meticulously but also kept the tour light and fun. A great deal to cook your own meal with ingredients provided, dishes washed for you, and cookbook/spices
