Dinner will be served with a lot of traditional Vietnamese dishes. You will have dinner with the fisherman and experience the taste of culture.
After dinner, you rest for a while, then follow the guide to kayak at night, experiencing one of the most magical beauty of nature. The guide will take you to spots where have a thick density of plankton
On the kayak, every time you paddle, you will see it sparkle along, lighting up the magical blue light. It will probably be the most magical moment you’ve seen in your life.
20:30 - 20:45: Back to the floating house, get on the boat to get back to Beo Harbour
21:00 - 21:15: Arrive by the harbour, get in a car to get back to the hotel. Finish the tour

Beautiful sunset, amazing experience. - Fantastic trip, beautiful views and sunset. Lovely dinner followed by the night kayaking which was amazing. Our guide Ryan was brilliant at every stage, he made booking and payment easy, was knowledgeable and interesting and a lot of fun. An absolute highlight of our trip to Vietnam.

Great tour, great tour guide! - Had an amazing time on this tour with our three kids (aged 10, 7 and 3). Ryan was the best tour guide we’ve had in Vietnam, he has really good English and was fun and had heaps of interesting stories and local insights. Scenery was beautiful, food was great and plankton were super cool. Highly recommend.

Amazing - beautiful views and great tour - We went to the beach for swimming, climbed (which was super cool) to a viewpoint, and saw the plankton. Really beautiful. Tour guide was lovely.

Fantastic experience - This tour was excellent. We were picked up on time and taken to our boat. Our guide Ryan was local and so interesting to talk to. He pointed out wildlife as we went through the bay. We stopped for a swim and jumping off the boat. Then had a nice meal before kayaking. Ryan guided us around the islands to see the phosphorescence, it was magical. An experience that will live with us forever.

Bioluminescence tour - Great tour! Tour guide Ryan was excellent and made the experience very enjoyable. We really enjoyed the kayak trip looking at the bioluminescence.

Great adventure with fantastic service - We went night-kayaking with luminous plankton in Lan Ha Bay. A fantastic experience, which became even more beautiful when I proposed to my girlfriend during this trip. This was a complete surprise for my girlfriend, and is super arranged by the guides. During the sunset swim session we were suddenly picked up by a speedboat that took us to a desert island, where I could pop the question all alone with her. This was fantastic, my thanks to the team at Cat Ba Local!!!

Great experience - Had a great evening kayaking with the bioluminescent plankton! The trip was well organised, dinner on the boat was good and kayaking at night and seeing the plankton glow was really special. They weren't super bright (photos have been brightened) but still easy to spot with a bit of splashing and swirling your paddle in the water.
