Where there's a Will there's a wonderful byway! - We had originally wanted to go to the summit of White Pass by the train but could not get booked. That was our unexpected good Fortune by booking the Wild Adventure Yukon Tour. We were on Gertrude with Will as our driver on an adventure to the Yukon. Gertrude was our bus, clean and comfortable, Will how can I say was Wonderful, a personable young man with knowledge of the area and a good story for every turn. Unlike the train spending the climb and descent staring out the windows we were allowed to get out and enjoy the scenery and take many pictures, while breathing in the wonderful backcountry air. At points such as the Yukon and Alaskan boarder, Will took custom pictures of us on our cameras, true memories. The Yukon Village was a great stop, a good lunch and interesting museums and taxidermy, puppies too! The 6 1/2 hrs. were well spent. I also witnessed how Skagway Tours cared for its customers trying to accommodate one couple with Passport problems. I have many pictures and memories of this day and my wife wanted to adopt Will as her fifth son. I'm sure riding the train is exciting particularly to young kids, this tour puts you in the environment from Sealevel to summit and beyond. I urge anyone with the time to spend in Skagway to take this tour.

Fall excursion!! - Fantastic trip with a enthusiastic tour guide, Monica! We went during the fall, the skies were cloudy but the colors of the trees were vibrant. Our tour guide was extremely informative.

Gorgeous Ride - My favorite tour of my first Alaska experience. Our female bus driver (don't remember her name) was very knowledgeable and gave a very good presentation during the entire ride. Might add she loved her job. She stopped the bus at request (by me) which was a good idea because the sun was out only at certain times and we would have had fog and drizzle otherwise. This gave customers a great opportunity to take gorgeous pictures. Highly recommend this tour. Traveled end of Sept. and our ship was the last of the season. Note: Talked to several about the train and it doesn't stop but all said the views were beautiful as well.

Brilliant Trip into the Wilderness - Absolutely brilliant tour. Monica, our driver and tour guide was so knowledgeable about everything and also so much fun. We learnt lots about the geography, geology, gold rush history and wildlife and the scenery was beautiful. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide, Wil Munoz, is the BOMB! - We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our tour guide, Wil Muñoz! He is the perfect blend of fun, knowledge, and genuine engagement. From start to finish, Wil kept us fully attentive; not just because of the rich information he shared, but also because of the way he delivered it. He has a unique ability to make you laugh one moment and deepen your appreciation for the historical and cultural significance of a site the next. He managed our group of approximately 42 people (if memory serves me right), many of whom were elderly or had mobility challenges, with patience, attentiveness, and care. That alone deserves recognition, as it’s no small task. By the end of the tour, I found myself thinking: “This is exactly how every tour should be conducted.” It was professional, entertaining, and truly enriching. Wil set a high standard, and we sincerely hope more tour guides can follow his example. We need more of Wil!

Wonderful Landscapes!!! - Meeting point was correct and on time. Our bus called "Gertrude" has a clean bathroom ready to use! Will, our tour guide and bus driver (2 in 1), was great! Lot's of stories and interesting facts. We did many stops on the road to see different landscapes. It was cold and sometimes rainy! Lunch was just okay. We where back on time. The whole tour takes almost 7h. We did not see any wildlife, but will have to come back!!! (***Need to bring your passport with you to cross to Canada).

Colorful Experience & Thoughtful Guide - As a photographer, this experience exceeded my expectations. Full of colorful landscapes (late September is when I went). Our guide, Will, stopped MANY times for photo opportunities; no pictures through a tinted glass! Will is funny and had many stories to share about growing up in Skagway. I always appreciate good stories and conversations with locals where I travel. Will checks all the boxes on my guided-tour expectations.

Autumn in the Yukon - Great trip with Will and Gertrude the bus! We left a cloudy, windy and damp Skagway, racing ahead of the storm to find some fabulous views and stunning autumn colours. Yukon is beautiful. Will kept us entertained with funny stories and information. He also took great photos. Highly recommend
