Elephant safari - Absolutely fantastic morning safari , saw loads of elephants, would certainly recommend Mayura our driver n guide Was picked up at 7 am dropped back to Hotel 11.30 , well worth the money for the experience

I highly recommend this safari tour! - I checked with several companies and this tour was the cheapest, but it was a great experience. I inquired in advance about either Minneriya or Hululu Eco Park, and decided to do the safari in Hululu as I heard that the elephants have been migrating there recently. The driver/guide was very kind, and he parked the jeep closer than the other jeeps, so I was able to observe the impressive elephants from just a few centimeters away.

Good safari with lots of elephants - Fantastic safari with nice guide. We saw 25+ elephants and as many peacocks. Recommend this safari with this guide.

Fantastic - Fantastic tour where we were able to get up and close to groups of elephants. The tour guides were patient and showed us around the best parts of the national park.

Definitely recommend! - I truly recommend this company if you want to see elephants up close in their natural habitat. Our driver/guide who was very friendly knew exactly where to find the elephants and thanks to the fact that we started our safari earlier (as recommend by the tour organiser) we were able to spend some alone time with these majest animals without other Jeeps around. We felt safe at all times and we felt that the driver knew how to behave around the animals. What is also very important, he was respecting animals and would keep healthy distance between the Jeep and the elephants- it was their choice to get up close to us. The price was reasonable comparing to other offers available on the Internet.

Amazing morning! - Amazing morning safari experience, saw around 20 elephants super close. Driver was really great and really knew the best places to see the Elephants.

Good trip - Good service and friendly staff. The booking was done via whats app and was easy. The staff arranged for our special accessibility need. Our driver Mayur was helpful n knowledgeable . Saw lot of elephants and birds.

Elephants sightings!! - I saw the tour while googling for the safari. Rates is almostvthe same or at oar with others and some euros cheaper than in our hotel. The guy is really responsive with all the questions. We went to Kaudulla park instead of Minneriya since that's where the bigger sightings of the elephants. Our driver was also nice doesnt speak much english but he tries to give information about the animals, he was a good spotter for animals and birds and waits for us to finish taking photos. 😀

Nice experience - It was low elephant season but our driver tried his best and we still saw dozen of elephants. It was a pleasant experience.

PLEASE READ THIS COMPANY’S OTHER LOW REVIEWS- - BUYER BEWARE! Please read the other one a two star ratings for this company before you decide to book! I would also advise that you keep all communications with this company on Tripadvisor messaging so that you have proof of your conversations and price confirmation so that Tripadvisor admins can see the conversation dialogue. I had booked a private jeep half day tour to Minneyira national park, which O received confirmation for. The owner of this company confirmed all costs to me to include parking/ entrance fees. However, on the day of my trip ( when I would be charged 100% if I were to cancel) he informed me that I would need to pay an additional $30 if I wanted Minneyira or I could visit a very small, unknown park if I didn’t wish to pay this new additional amount ( other reviewers seem to have had similar experiences) He also harassed me in the lead up to my safari with many unsolicited links to my personal WhatsApp for various trips and accommodations. He also informed me that my jeep would now have two other guests so would no longer be the private trip that I had booked or to the park I had booked. This man is untrustworthy and had plagued me with requests to extort more money from me on the morning of my trip as he knew I couldn’t cancel without losing all my money. I therefore decided to cancel my safari as he had stressed me so much during the morning with constant messaging changing pick up times and locations and requesting additional fees that I would not have felt comfortable sitting in a jeep with him for three hours in the afternoon. I therefore lost all my money that I had paid a missed out on what should have been an amazing experience.
