Captain Louis is best! - I had an amazing boat ride with Captain Louis! The trip was smooth, relaxing, and filled with great views of Amsterdam. Louis was a knowledgeable and friendly captain, ensuring that we were comfortable and informed about the sights we passed. His experience showed throughout the ride, making it an enjoyable and memorable experience. Highly recommend!

“Private tour” with a true “Mosquito” - My daughter and I were the only ones who signed up for the 1:00pm time slot so we ended up with a private tour! Our guide, Warden (a real Mosquito - that’s what true locals call themselves - fun fact from Warden) was great! Very friendly and informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Fun and informative! - We signed up for the first tour of the day and ended up being the only ones there, so we accidentally ended up with our very own private tour! It was lots of fun; we learned a bunch about the history of Haarlem and even a little bit about the United States that we hadn’t heard before! Would definitely recommend! Word of advice: if it’s even a mildly warm day, wear a hat!

Fantastic experience thanks to Rogier! - Our experience with the boat was nothing short of amazing, and that was mainly thanks to Rogier! From the moment we stepped on board, we were warmly and welcoming. Rogier made sure that everything was arranged to perfection and that we felt completely at ease. Favorite canal tour - Great way to see Haarlem. We did several canal tours in the Netherlands and this cruise around Haarlem was our favorite. Walter was a great guide!

Very fun and educational boat trip through Haarlem - We had a very nice tour from Peter; in three different languages he managed to provide everyone on board with fun information. Even we, as residents of Haarlem, still learned a lot! We combined the boat trip with a visit to De Adriaan. Recommended!

Only speak Dutch : don't go !!! - We were six people on board. Four Dutch speaking and an English lady with her son. The skipper asked who spoke what and then said he would only speak English. I said my girlfriend didn't speak a word of English. That was a shame, he only did it in English because he couldn't exclude anyone. When I noticed that he did exclude my girlfriend, he said that if I wanted multiple languages, I should go on a boat where they played bands in all languages. He told a few things but also kept his mouth shut for a long time, so had plenty of time to tell it in Dutch. I have been in a lot of different canal boats but I have never experienced this. I would only advise Dutch speaking people to avoid this society. At least they'll never see me again.
