I particularly enjoyed the cooking class, where we learned to make traditional dishes using fresh, local ingredients. Viet’s enthusiasm and willingness to share his knowledge made the experience both educational and fun.

Ashley, our excursion guide, went above and beyond to tailor our activities to our interests. Whether it was helping us navigate the local markets or teaching us about Vietnamese culture and history, her dedication was evident. I even picked up a few Vietnamese phrases along the way, which added a personal touch to the journey.

As the sun set over the Gulf of Tonkin, I found myself reflecting on the incredible experiences of the past few days. The evenings were filled with laughter and camaraderie, whether it was singing karaoke with Nate or enjoying a cocktail on the sundeck. The sense of community among the guests and staff was truly special, and I felt grateful to have been a part of it.

The final morning was bittersweet as we explored the Dark and Bright Cave by bamboo boat. The sparkling stalactites and serene surroundings were a fitting end to an unforgettable adventure. As we cruised back to the mainland, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of longing to stay just a little longer.
