Amazing history and experience! - This is slightly off the beaten path but well worth the effort. One of my favorite stops in Iceland! The history of the farm is incredible - dating back to the 10th century with etched dates in the turf house as far back as 1641. The house tour is fantastic - small groups make is personal and leisurely. Our tour guide was a college intern there for the summer who was wonderful! Highly recommend spending an hour or so here getting lost in time here…
