Easy experience visiting Tikal - Recommended by a friend - we actually drove our car to the Belize-Guatemala border, parked on Belize side, went through to Guatemala and Tikal Go met us and took us to Tikal. The bus was new and big with good AC. Christian our guide was super knowledgeable. The drive was 1.5-2 hrs. We stopped at a touristy spot to get tickets and use the bathroom - the best part of the stop is seeing the replica of the Tikal site, which helps out things in perspective when you’re walking around Tikal itself (harder to get the scale because the jungle has overgrown a lot of it). We walked around for a few hours and got to climb a lot of the structures. We also saw howler monkeys and other animals, which was cool. It was unbelievably humid and hot, so we struggled with that. The lunch (included) on site at the end was very welcome to sit down and cool off, and it was also amazing. We all fell asleep in the car on the way back. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend - I recently visited Tikal, and it was an amazing experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, making the history come alive. The site itself is stunning and well worth the visit. Our driver was excellent, and the van was comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed a delicious meal. Highly recommend this tour!

Great experience from start to finish - Very professional communication prior to tour. Went for the private overnight tour to Tikal as needed to set up a customised itinerary as we had three kids and needed to ensure the pace was right for them. Was able to develop an itinerary with sunset tour for whole family and some of the adults/ teens to go for sunrise.(and leave the rest in bed). Also was able to incorporate seamless transfer from Hopkins through the border.Omar are guide in Tikal was superb. Very knowledgeable and was really good with the kids. He showed great flexibility in itinerary depending on their needs. Will always have some special memories of the spectacular sunrise and sunset we got to witness and standing in the main plaza looking at the stars.

Tikal Go took great care of us - Christian was a very good guide when my wife and I toured Tikal. It is an amazing place to learn about the Mayan culture and Christian's knowledge about the site, the history as well as the plants and animals made it a never to forget experience. The lunch experience on-site was a bonus.

Tikal Go Day Trip was Excellent! - Tikal Go : Alex and his crew Louis and Omar, were awesome! Private tour to Tikal was just what we were looking for. Picked us up right from our property. Local guides that took pride in their country and full of information. Our Belize driver, Louis, was cheerful and informative. He helped navigate the border crossing processes with ease! Omar, our tour guide on the Guatemala side was standing ready to meet us. He began sharing about his country as soon as we were seated in the van. He answered every question we handed him. We spoke of everything from culture(old & new), flora, and fauna! Tikal ruins were amazing. We ended the tour with a wonderful lunch! Wear comfortable shoes and be ready to get your steps in. I highly recommend Tikal Go and visit Tikal.

Great Experience - Had a great trip to Tikal! We drove ourselves from San Ignacio and parked at the border ($3 for all day). Easier process than expected to get across, although you do have to pay a departure fee(can use CC). Picked up on the other side and driven about 2 hours to Tikal with a quick stop 1/2 way there to grab souvenirs and coffee. Our guide, Royal, met us at the entrance and took our small group(6 total) through and showed us some unique flora and fauna right off the bat. Then he did a great job of showing us the pyramids and other buildings, while giving us the extensive history and allowed us ample time to take pics. He took us on some off beaten paths to show us things that not sure everyone got to see. Did our obligatory Star Wars shot from the pyramid and then had a great lunch in the jungle. Finished it off by my 11year old son forcing me to eat some termites of the tree with him and Royal. Not bad!
Great overall experience and we got another stamp on our passports 😀

Tikal your- Tikal Go. - Genny. He was the most amazing guide. The experience we had with was amazing. He's a walking encyclopedia. His knowledge of the history, flora, fauna, birds, animals, etc...... the list can go on. The company was safe, professional, and punctual. This was truly one of the best tours I have ever been on.

Excellent tour - We were thrilled with our guide Genny who made this amazing experience even more memorable. In addition to knowing a lot about the site history he was a fantastic birder who went out of his way to make sure we saw some great birds. The entire tour went very smoothly and we had a ton of fun.

Daytrip to Tikal - My husband, toddler and I had a fantastic day with guide Eduardo and our driver who's name I cannot remember unfortunately. We learned a lot, about Tikal and Guatemala; and everything went so smoothly. Eduardo was so welcoming of our toddler and encouraged us to take our time and not rush. I wouldn't hesitate to book again!
