Ramtzul Resort - Nestled in the highlands of Guatemala, specifically in the Baja Verapaz department, Ram Tzul is a natural reserve. In Mayan, “Ram Tzul” translates to the Heart and Spirit of the Mountain. The local indigenous community believes that, akin to Mother Nature, the “Heart and Spirit of the Mountain” is a life source. Visitors will experience rivers, natural pools, stunning waterfalls, and a bamboo forest.

Declared a natural monument in 2005, the 500-meter-long stone bridge creates multiple turquoise-colored natural pools. Enjoy the refreshing waters while soaking in the humid subtropical climate. The Mayan Q´eqchi´ people named it “Semuc Champey,” meaning “Where the river hides,” as the Cahabón River flows beneath the natural bridge and pools. Vacations are for discovery and relaxation, and this day is no exception. Don’t forget your swimsuit and camera for this extraordinary paradise!
