Additional Information

Our vehicle of choice will be the latest Super Jeep (Jeep Gladiator Rubicon or/and the Dodge RAM 1500), accommodating a maximum of 4 passengers plus our guide and driver.

The chain of geological events began when magma ascended from the Earth’s core, forming a magma chamber (a sizable subterranean pool of lava) beneath the Earth’s crust, situated between Fagradalsfjall and Keilir, approximately 7 km in length. Finally, the lava managed to break through the surface, resulting in an eruption near Fagradalsfjall. The activity resumed in 2022.

Our expedition will kick off in Reykjavík: we will fetch you from your hotel and embark on a 40-50 minute journey to the Reykjanes peninsula.

Once we’ve arrived, we’ll conduct an initial briefing. Our route will take us through a valley, brimming with undulating terrains and awe-inspiring unearthly landscapes. It will feel as though you’ve stepped foot on a different planet. After a challenging trek, we’ll reach our destination - Earth’s lifeblood. We’ll then return to base and transport you back to Reykjavik.
