Excellent tours, engaging guides - We had a fantastic experience with Pete’s Mystique Tours! I booked via email in advance of our trip, having read really positive reviews online and in the Bradt Guide Book. It was really easy to arrange and Pete confirmed the night before our trip. The first trip we booked was a full day tour but was completely bespoke, which is what we wanted. We wanted to combine some sightseeing with tracing my husband’s family tree in Grenada. Dexter was our guide and was amazing! Really knowledgeable and engaging and made for a great day. He was really enthusiastic about helping my husband and got as involved as we were, including helping us find the church where my father in law was baptised in Grenville! We loved visiting Belmont Estate and River Antoine Distillery (definitely worth a visit). It was also really interesting to learn more generally about the development of Grenada over recent years. Our second trip was the half day Hike and Relax tour. Michelle was our guide and was equally as fabulous as Dexter! We went to Seven Sisters waterfall and were escorted by Michelle and guide Randy. Both were brilliant- hugely knowledgable and put as at ease during the hike. It was steep and fairly challenging but we felt reassured throughout and were not rushed, so we could take it at our own pace. There was hardly anyone else there so we felt like we had the waterfall to ourselves! I cannot recommend Pete’s Mystique Tours highly enough- professional, well organised and easy to book, with excellent and knowledgeable guides. I really liked the fact we could personalise the tours to what we needed/wanted and would definitely book them again on our next visit.

Strenuous but beautiful hike - Guides were excellent and helped my wife who experienced some difficulty. This hike was exceptionally difficult due to the heavy rain hours before. The trail was muddy which required very careful foot placement. We did not see any wildlife, apparently due to the rain. The waterfall and pool below was brown with mud. This is not the fault of the guide as, we were told, this is the "dry season" and this much rain is unusual. The trail is long and steep, about 3 miles round trip. I would say it was beyond the "Strenuous" rating, but I though worth it. We would rather do that than take a bus tour to look at old buildings.

Rainforest/Seven Sisters Waterfall - Our guide, Michelle was great. She had another local guide who helped us down and back up from the falls. This is a hike for experienced hikers, and well worth it. Steep down and slippery at times. My wife and I were the only ones, so we were two hikers and two guides

The highlight of our trip. - This was the best excursion of our trip and something I will never forget. We were lucky enough to see a Mona monkey as well as smaller monkeys in the trees during our hike. Randy was an amazing guide both knowledgeable and funny with it. Michelle picked us up from the port and gave us a great insight into the history of Grenada. The waterfalls were stunning and it was great to swim in them. The hike is hard in places but doable with a moderate fitness level.

Excellent hike to Seven Sisters falls - This was an excellent hike. Picked up promptly from our hotel by Michelle who was wonderful and gave us some great information about the island. We met up with Shane our guide for the hike down to Seven Sisters falls. He was an excellent host and gave us an interesting guide to some of the spices etc that were growing in the area. The hike itself was slightly challenging, made a bit more testing as it had rained heavily over night. Had a swim in the pool of water at the bottom of the fall before making our way back up. Michelle then drove through George Town indicating places of interest for when we visit.dropped back at our hotel for an afternoons recovery time.

A Must When Visiting Grenada - The .75-mile hike down is a little challenging and does require a hiking stick and sturdy shoes. The reward is a refreshing dip in the plunge pool. Really enjoyed learning a lot from Michelle and Randy. The drive up the mountain is also scenic.

Hiking a tropical rainforest - Our guide was Randy. He was very helpful and is a wonderful guy. He does everything from the heart. Michelle picked us up at our ship and took us to the meeting place. Both Randy and Michelle made the trip excellent for us. It’s a beautiful tropical rainforest and waterfall - you’ll enjoy!
