A meaningful day meeting kind and interesting local people - Our day with Mr. Umit was very meaningful to us. It was only a few days after the Kahramanmaras earthquake devastated so much in southern Turkiye. He shared that they could feel the earthquake, but nothing was destroyed in the Cappadocia region. He took us to visit a farming family in a small village for lunch. This was the BEST meal we had on our trip. The family grew everything they served. We got a more intimate understanding of the earthquake's effect on local people by meeting this family and Umit's other friends in a local cafe and businesses. We were humbled by the kindness we received by them all in the midst of personal loss and grief. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to spend the day with Umit and his friends at a time when they did not have heavy hearts. I highly recommend this activity, as you will see a cave house left as it was since the family moved out only 20 years ago, visit a hipster cafe with coffee made over a wood fire and learn about the region from a lovely man who grew up there.

Never again for me. - Terrible experience. He whatsapped me from two different numbers asking me to remove my previous detailed review, emotionally blackmailing me that his kids won't have food to eat. I removed the long description but I cannot forget the way he made me feel all throughout. As a solo traveler, my single person payment wasn't as lucrative to him and he moved one of my bookings and cancelled coming to another by sending someone else, citing personal problems. I have traveled the world and I have never experienced a tour company citing personal problems and cancelling/modifying travel plans. It seemed a lie to me because he could have attended to his personal problem earlier, on the day he asked me to move my tour to another date. He behaved extremely unprofessionally. And now, he is sending me messages, harassing me. I am writing my experience in detail here, but I had a horrible one with him. Never ever going to hire him because he uses personal stuff to blackmail you into modifying/cancelling/sending someone else on his behalf etc. Umit, Please don't message me again. I have written a milder feedback, since you asked me to delete the previous one. But I have to share my experience as you made me cry and gave me sleepless night during my short travel to Capadoccia. I can never forget that.
