Highlights

Sokrakion - Sokraki first emerged in 1343, contributing alongside other local villages to the construction of the Monastery of Pantokratoras atop the mountain of the same name. The village has largely preserved its traditional architectural style, featuring charming cobblestone streets, oil mills, two picturesque squares, traditional coffee shops, and impressive churches dating back to the 16th century.

Ano Korakiana - Ano Korakiana is a picturesque and traditional Corfiot village situated at the base of the Korentis and Korakio mountains, from which it derives its name. The village stretches linearly from east to west along two parallel roads that form its main thoroughfare. It is a medieval village that has largely retained its original architecture. Notable sights include numerous old churches (37 in total) and the house where the Bandiera brothers lived while planning their involvement in the Italian revolution.

Strinilas - Strinylas is a mountain village with 38 residents, located at an altitude of approximately 680 meters in northern Corfu, just below the summit of Mount Pantokrator. It is the highest-altitude settlement in Corfu. The village is distinguished by its stone house architecture and its refreshing mountain climate, complemented by lush vegetation. It is about 28 km from Corfu city and roughly 5.2 km from the Pantokrator summit, where the “High Pantokrator” monastery is situated.

Pantokrátoras - Drive up the mountainside through traditional villages to visit the monastery at the highest point of Corfu.

Spartilas - Spartylas is a small village renowned for its stunning views. Located on the southern slopes of Mount Pantokratoras at an altitude of 370 meters, it overlooks Pyrgi and Barbati, offering breathtaking views of the sea, the entire Ypsos bay, Dassia, and even the city of Corfu. The houses in Spartylas appear to cling to the steep slopes. The village is also known for its taverns, which serve delicious Corfiot cuisine. There are also rentable bungalows available for tourists seeking a peaceful holiday in nature.

Ypsos - Drive along Ipsos’ long beach back to Corfu port or hotel.

Spectacular Views and Experiences with the best Guide and Driver in Corfu - Maria was our guide and Leo was our driver. The van was very nice and comfortable. An experienced driver is a must to traverse the roads ion this mountainous island and Leo had driven these routes many times. Maria provided some vey interesting and entertaining commentary during our travels. She did a perfect job in knowing the true "local" spots and even got a caretaker to open an old chuch that had not been open to "outsiders" in years. Being both born and raised on Corfu Maria and Leo can be credited with providing us with one of, if not, the best day tour that we have ever had - and we've had a bunch. Highly recommend!
