Talks constant crap about Noel Gallagher, Abelist. Employees Gallagher Brothers Wife and Child beating Scumbag Dad - Ok, so this guy has. massive group (good for him, always glad to support locals) but no microphone, a xeroxed book full of overused, washed out pics that would be a joke if it were free. Im near local to MCR and know some of the musicians he mentions on his tour or know adjacent people enough to them to tell you that a). his constant arrogant, misguided criticism and dismissal of Noel Gallagher (Oasis) was an absolute disgrace (counterpoint- dude wouldnt have a job if it werent for Noel especially! b).He bragged despite his constant complaints about Noel who he doesn't even know and should thank for the boom in the bloody economy for people like him- that he employees the alcoholic, wife-beating, child-beating scumbag that is Tommy Gallagher whenever he can. If you are an Oasis fan or person with basic ethics, this is a no-go and a persona non-grata not only does the Gallagher pops likely know little about the two famous sons he beat- Noel apparently the worst and their poor long suffering mam Peggy but who supports a man who does such things. Tommy hasnt had any contact with his younger two sons for decades and why would they have opened up to a bully father like him so you're better off booking elsewhere. On the ethcs thing- this tour guide who loves to tout his likely crap music, even played a highly embarrassing tune on a plastic recorder and music clips on a no joke tiny wee tape recorder with a miserable tiny speaker. My cousins and I were laughing so hard between this and the laminate book that was so worn out- there was very little visbility. One more ethical issue which, I found deeply offensive was he made fun of and demeaned Noel Gallagher for his dyslexia?! Random and unnecessary... and working in the design field, more creatives than likely not statistically have dyslexia! Finally- he took us through bars and I hope he had a deal with the bars and cafes because its rude to bring 15-20 people in for really nothing that benefits them (example former DRY Bar -final vestige of Factory Records real estate holdings in MCR). Some of his facts were off, the tape recorder did no justice to the often well chosen music he played to reflect the Mancunian music scene and a its evolution. No microphone so good luck hearing this guy as well. A shambles. I wouldn't have paid for this but my family came from out of town and surprised booked the tickets.
