Well spent calories! - I had an excellent time on this Manchester food tour with Danny as our guide. We got to try a variety of local foods and drinks from places I probably never would have discovered on my own. Danny was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and relaxed while also sharing interesting history and stories about Manchester.

One of the best tours I've taken! - I travel a lot and this is one of the best tours I have every taken! Danny is passionate about his city and introduced our group of five to the history, culture, and of course, the food and drink. He brought us to many places we would never have found on our own and had us try many local dishes. We had three savory and two sweets and I was quite full at the end. In between we walked about 2 miles in total and learned about how the three "C"--coal, cotton, and canals--shaped Manchester into the vibrant city we see today. I highly recommend this on your first or second day to get your bearings and get recommendations of what else to see.

A great way to spend an afternoon - We had a brilliant afternoon out with our guide Luke. Although we live locally, we have visited places new to us and we'll definitely be returning. The 3 hours passed so quickly! Luke was great company and really knowledgeable about the history of Manchester and Salford. The tour is amazing value for money, packed with food, drinks and some unexpected treats along the way. We left feeling full and really well looked after. Would highly recommend.

Perfect combination of informational walking and resting/eating/drinking - thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Luke, our host, was so knowledgeable and shared many historical and current stories and facts about Manchester. It was the perfect combination of an informative walking tour and eating/drinking. Luke brought us to a variety of unique places where the food, cocktails, beer/cider were delicious. After Luke's tour, I actually went back to two of the places we visited...for dinner at one and to see a play at the other. Luke's colleague Danny recognized me at The Stable Tavern and helped me find a table as it was s very busy Friday evening. We chatted and he recommended more sights to see. The beef and barley homemade pie was ... pure comfort. I savoured every bite. Later, when I returned to 53two, Simon, the owner recognized me and said, "Welcome back!" I felt surrounded by warm-hearted, kind people all day, thanks to Luke. I also met two lovely people from China and we connected. Luke had surprises and treats along the way! It really was a perfect day and I'm grateful to Luke, Danny, Simon, Shirley, Eric, and all the Mancunians that we met along the way. 🙏🥰❤️

Great food tour. - As locals we decided to be tourists for the day and learn a bit more about the city where we live. Darren was our guide and from the outset told us things about the city of Manchester that we previously didn’t know. Darren was a great guide who took us on a tour of the city where we went to bars and eateries that I had never even set foot into. We both had a great afternoon/evening and would highly recommend.

Superbly scrumptious - Excellent way to spend a weekend evening. We did our tale of two cities tour on a Sunday evening. We met Danny at 4pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 hour tour. We had several stops on our route, each one involved a different taster all relevant to Manchester. Danny gave us lots of historical facts along the way. Loved this tour because we visited places off the regular tourist routes. Food stops all fabulous, tasty and we got to note down loads of things to do on our next city break. This food tour introduced us to lots of local products which were very much enjoyed as supporting local small businesses is very important to us. Definetly recommend this as a lovely way to spend your evening and go home with a lovely fully tummy 😋
