Knowledgeable Guide; good experience - Excellent directions to the starting point. The friendly guide greeted us and began to interact about history as other guests arrived. Our guide, Richard, provided interesting facts focused mainly on Churchill and WW2 in Britain. But he also clearly diverged when he wanted to share something from another period of history. He kept at a good pace in both content and walking speed. I do recommend that you come prepared for brisk weather as part of the tour is along the Thames River. After getting his group settled at the final building, the guide leaves and you do that building at your own pace. The main historical portions of the WW2 underground are fascinating. We found the ‘museum’ focused on Churchill to be chaotic with a poor flow; surprising for the Brits who tend to excel in curating museums. But we have returned for the other historically preserved rooms in this fascinating piece of victorious history.
