Wonderful Tour - We had a fantastic time! Our tour guide Pauly was very informative, enthusiastic, and funny. He made the long drive much easier and enjoyable. John the driver was also great. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was well worth the cost.

Amazing Inner Circle Stonehenge Tour with Golden Tours & Paulie and Armando - Paulie and Armando were amazing. My friends and I had such a wonderful experience. Paulie was a wealth of information, funny, and looked after all of us. Armando and Paulie both ensured we all got photographs of Stonehenge and with Stonehenge right down to taking the photos of us themselves. Pauline supplied additional information within the circle and pretty much the entire way. Every step of the way we were given clear information and they made it extremely easy for us to return to meeting locations after free time in Windsor and after the visiting center at Stonehenge. I 10/10 recommend this tour and if you get Paulie and Armando then you are in for a treat. PS. Paulie let us know which restaurant upon return was the one that Princess Diana would take her sons to eat at. We were able to find it with ease and eat there after the tour. Paulie also went out of his way to check in with everyone on the bus to make sure they knew how to get back to their hotels/homes. Again, it was a beyond wonderful experience and I’ll never forget it and being able to be in the inner circle of Stonehenge! Myself and my friends all shared this sentiment and many thanks to Pauline and Armando for an informative, safe, and easy tour!

Well worth the expense - Pauley and John were great. A private tour among the stones is the only way to truly experience Stonehenge

Please be cautious when booking with Viator. - We originally had a tour booked with another company (Evans & Evans) but canceled it because Viator’s listing specifically advertised an open-top bus experience. That feature was the deciding factor for us, so we were willing to pay significantly more—nearly $1,000 total—for what we believed would be a more premium tour. When we arrived, we discovered that the tour was actually being run by Golden Tours. We were the only passengers who had booked through Viator, and we quickly learned that the open-top bus experience we had been promised was not available. Golden Tours acknowledged this and informed their customers that they would be issuing a partial refund. However, we were told that because we had booked through Viator, any refund would have to come from them directly. I waited a few days, then contacted Viator to follow up. I was polite, simply asking what type of refund we might expect given that the key part of the tour—the open bus—was not delivered. I was informed that the matter had been reviewed by a supervisor, and no refund would be issued at all. Not even a partial refund. This is unacceptable. Viator did not deliver the service they advertised, yet they have refused to offer any compensation. Meanwhile, other customers on the exact same tour, who paid less than we did, received partial refunds from Golden Tours. We, who paid more, got less—and then were told to accept it. I understand that things happen—weather changes, routes get altered—but when a tour company knowingly sells a product that doesn’t match the experience delivered and then refuses to make it right, that crosses a line. At this point, I feel that Viator has grown too large to prioritize individual customer service. When a company reaches that size, it often begins to rely on volume over integrity—and that’s exactly how this experience felt. Dismissive, impersonal, and disappointing. My advice? Skip Viator altogether. Book directly with Golden Tours, Evans & Evans, or any provider that stands by their word and treats customers with fairness and transparency. Travel should be about trust. In this case, that trust was broken.
