Both grown-ups and youngsters will undoubtedly enjoy exploring the most significant sections of the Tower of London, such as the collection of the Crown Jewels, the historic White Tower, the ancient Medieval Palace, and numerous other areas.
Your guide will animate history in a engaging way, and with a variety of activities, designed specifically for children, your entire family is guaranteed to have a blast while gaining knowledge!
- Parts of the Tower are not pushchair friendly due to the cobbled ground. Buggy parks are located in few areas.
- If you get there by taxi, as the Welcome Centre is on a pedestrian street, tell the driver to drop you off on Petty Wales.
- Nearest undergroud station is Tower Hill
- We suggest wearing comfortable shoes
- The Tower of London is mostly an outdoor site, you will only be indoors for part of the tour.
- Please wear warm cothing during the winter.
- This tour suitable for for kids older then 5 years, younger kids can join the tour without participating
- Please be aware that the queue for the Crown Jewels can be long in the high season
- You will see the Crown Jewels but guiding in the jewel house is not allowed
- You will skip the tickets line but security checks are Inevitable
- PLEASE NOTE: you will have pre-booked tickets but it is not possible to skip-the-line at the Tower of London.

Excellent Tour - Lucy our guide was amazing. She managed to keep our 3 jet lagged hot children entertained and interested. We felt it was worth the cost to get this personal experience. WE learnt a lot and would definitely recommend,

Beautifully tailored tour for our family - We decided on a private tour because our 8 year old daughter has cerebral palsy and is hard of hearing. We thought it would benefit her to go at her own pace so we booked with Mehru and she did not disappoint! She was so charming and engaging. Our daughter loved her and learned so much that day.

Family tour - Our family of five had an incredible private tour of the Tower of London, and we can’t recommend it enough! Our guide was fantastic with our kids (ages 10, 10, and 12), keeping them engaged with fascinating stories and encouraging lots of questions. She had a great way of making history come alive, making sure both the kids and adults were learning and having fun. The tour was on the longer side, but it was so engaging that the time flew by. We left with a deeper appreciation for the Tower’s history and had a truly memorable experience—highly recommend for families!

Magnificent Mehru! - Mehru was awesome! She was knowledgeable about all aspects of the Tower of London. She kept my 10-year-old daughter and me engaged the entire three hours: we learned about the history of the City of London, the evolution of the Tower of London to what it is today, the Crown Jewels, and we counted many, many lions along the way. I’d highly recommend Mehru for a kid-friendly guide who also takes great photos and even gave my daughter a gift at the end!

Worth the price; Ben was great - We did the private, 3 hour, family tour. It was exactly what we hoped for and worth the extra cost of the regular tours. Ben was our tour guide and was extremely knowledgeable and great with our two boys. We went at our own pace, had plenty of time to sit for lunch, and got to see everything without rushing.

History comes alive in this engaging and fascinating tour - Our tour guide was Lucy - and she was fabulous! We are a family of four - son age 9 and daughter age 7. Lucy made history come alive for them! She was engaging, funny, asked questions, was conversational and displayed expert knowledge of both British history and the customs, protocol and culture of the London Tower as it exists today. This was a highlight of our week long tour of London and the surrounding area. She went the extra mile for us - ensuring that we got everything we could out of the experience. I highly recommend this tour to others.
