Excellent tour, even better guide! - Wonderful tour. It was informative and perfectly paced. It was super interesting and moved quickly while still never feeling rushed. Our tour guide, Philip, was terrific!!! Very friendly and increíble knowledgeable. It felt like we were touring with a friendly local - because we were! I would do this tour again and would highly recommend to others.

Rob was great - Rob's knowledge of the Tower Bride (including engine room), River Thames, and other attractions was great. The river cruise itself was nothing to write home about - views weren't great for taking pictures.

Average at best - We had an average time on this tour. Starting off strong, our guide Rob was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour group was also (unintentionally) quite small, with it just being my mom and I plus a family of three. This meant that we could ask any questions we had without worrying about taking up excess time. When I asked about a trait of the Thames, Rob did provide further information. We believe a primary highlight of choosing this tour is that it does facilitate a faster entry into the Tower Bridge. We were able to take the elevator up the tower and then returned to street level via stairs. I don’t want to counter the tour as not being accessible, given the pathways used outside of the tower are not wheelchair accessible. The tour was marked for being three hours and it lasted the full time. However, moving into areas of improvement: the tour absolutely dragged at certain times. We feel as though certain parts of the tour would have a rather straightforward alternative of just reading from the museum materials. The “Thames River cruise” aspect of this tour is a major aspect of why it was marked down to three stars. The river cruise is actually a ride on an Uber Boat, and unlike another excursion we did that advertised a river cruise, there was no priority boarding. As such, we waited there for 10-15 minutes before we could finally board an available boat. Rob continued to give some commentary, but ultimately I fail to see the exact purpose of the river cruise except for it maybe to make the tour more enticing as a listing.
Ultimately, the tour was decent. However, at nearly $100 USD per person, it is way over priced. The three hours it takes could easily be condensed, but I reckon it is partially extended in order to justify the price. At this price point, I find it odd that the river cruise aspect is kind of just tacked on with no added bonus. We were effectively just a group going through public transit together. Rob’s tour-giving skills and the unintentionally small group are the saving graces for this tour not receiving lower stars. Given the niche of this tour, I highly encourage any potential advisors to really consider if the added benefits are worth the price point prior to booking.

Unorganized tour company - I’ll start with Tony our tour guide was great!! Very knowledgeable, prompt and fun to be with. HOWEVER, the tour company and Viator need to get their act together. Our meeting place and time were changed. I thought it odd so I emailed to confirm which gave me a different meeting place. We took an expensive cab to the meeting location, only to take a second expensive cab someplace else. Very frustrating and confusing for a tourist not familiar with the city!!!
