Do it! - What a fun tour! Actually leaned some interesting facts and pretty dark history. Interactive tour guides were a blast. Highly recommended!

its gruesome, its gory, and it’s only going to get worse - Our tour guide, Maggie, was really interesting. Her passion for history spoke for itself as she recounted the gory side of history that you don’t learn about in school. The characters you meet along the way enhance the experience and you get to hear first hand tales of what it was like to live in the past.

Not your typical history… - I’m not sure what I was expecting, but it was great! A good opportunity to learn about the darker side of London’s history in a creative way. The knowledge acquired is different from your average “tour guide” education. Great acting by the tour guides as well. I ended up being the only person, and was glad they didn’t cancel on me.

Good tour! - We had a fun time learning about that area of London and it’s interesting and darker past. Our guide was wonderful and the visiting actress who popped in to add some more commentary was entertaining. We loved having a beer afterwards at the historic George Inn in Southwark. Nice tour!

Fantastic evening! - What a fantastic experience! Thank you to our guide Mary. She was amazing. So knowledgable and informative. Made our whole experience fun and interesting. Didn’t realise Southwark had such a gruesome history! Thanks also to Clement/Harriet. What a character! She made the night even more special with all her stories of Southwark’s unsavoury past!

Grisly great time - I took the tour with Ollie and his colleague and had an absolute blast. His background in theatre was really showing as he painted a vivid picture of Southwark’s seething underbelly.
The performances at several stops were fun and could have been right out of a Horrible History skit. The chemistry between Ollie and his colleague was amazing snd they played off each other so well that it felt totally natural.
For everyone enjoying their tours darkly funny and still educational, join the Cloak & Dagger Tour it’s time and money well spent.

Tour in a different style, recommended for curious and advanced - A fascinating tour (six hours full of emotion, shock, and mostly pleasure and concern) about the topics that are usually not discussed - the crowds and how it all started.
Recommended for Doron Fisher fans.

Highly recommend- unique experience that exceeded expectations - The best tour! History and theatrical experience. Highlight if our trip and we were in London for 6 days with a full itinerary. We are back home and I am still thinking about this tour 2 weeks later. Guide knew much history and was funny and charismatic - highly recommend!

The grisly reality of London in the past - We had a fantastic time (the 2 1/2 hours flew by) with Mary on the Cloak & Dagger tour. Despite living close to London (and working there) my wife & I learnt so much from Mary and her 'friends' along the way.
The tour was perfect for families (it wasn't too gory), couples, locals and tourists alike. I would heartily recommend.

Very good… but could be even better.. - This review will be split into 2…
Firstly our tour guide Ollie. I done this tour with my son and we had an unfortunate incident where my son passed out. Ollie was very helpful throughout and was very patient. Ollie waited until my son recovered and was able to continue the tour. Thank you for this.
He was also very interactive and knowledgable and we enjoyed the tour very much.
One downside is I feel the tour could be better. I’ve done a tour of Southwark previously and there was a little more detail. I feel there are also some areas of interest missed out on this tour. Mainly Crossbones Graveyard a short walk away and the Old Operating Theatre a stones throw away from the starting point. Both of these landmarks offer a very gruesome past and very missed unfortunately.
All in all though a very enjoyable tour with some surprises along the way which was a nice touch
