Great Company! - We had a wonderful daytrip expertly guided by Val to Stonehenge, Bath, and a wonderful little village in the Cotswalds (shhh, it’s a secret🤫) Pick up and drop off were as scheduled and the bus was comfortable. But it was Val’s storytelling that truly made the day. I have to commend Jen at the office for her help. This was a trip originally scheduled for 2020 that the pandemic canceled. She was great to deal with then to give a refund. When I rebooked, I accidently booked for April 12 rather than May 12. Jen again was so kind to switch it for us. Highly recommend The English Bus!

Excellent day out - A thoroughly good experience, visiting Stonehenge first and then going on to Bath before returning via the Cotswolds and a brief stop in a village that has become world famous relatively recently. Our driver/guide on the 16 seater couch was Val, who was full of interesting and often amusing information about what we were seeing, with many unusual facts about both past and present. The coach being smaller than the more usual 40 or 50 seater, meant we were able to access some routes that a bigger vehicle would have been unable to replicate. Val also provided optional walking tours both at the Henge and in Bath city centre. If you wish to partake fully of those, you will not have a huge amount of time for a full sit down meal during the day, but we found an excellent, slightly quirky and very friendly cafe called the Abbey Deli in Bath, next door to the much more elaborate (and expensive) Crystal Palace pub. We were fortunate that it was a mostly dry and sunny day - Stonehenge is a very exposed environment so, as with any day out in England, you do need to keep your fingers crossed on that score. However, there is a very good exhibition at the visitors centre and a shop with a big selection to choose from if you want to maximise your time under cover. A long and extremely enjoyable day out.

Fantastic day trip very worthwhile - This had to have been one of the nicest day trips ever...the bus was a comfortable, clean minibus rather than a large coach, which made the whole experience so much more intimate and personal. Our tour guide Val was lovely and enthusiastic, she regaled us with great stories and anecdotes about all sorts of things, like historic buildings and landmarks we passed on the way out of London as well as the sites we visited. Val had a seemingly Encyclopedic knowledge about Stonehenge and Bath, with facts and stories that were absolutely fascinating. I would definitely recommend these tours and will be planning to go again soon...

Highly Recommend Tour - This is an excellent tour! The historical content about Stonehenge provided by the guides made the stop just magical. You could almost feel the energy of the site! Moving onto Bath, the guides provided an informative short walking tour. Finally, our "secret place" was absolutely delightful...really the cap on a special day. We would absolutely recommend this tour. Val and Lucy were top notch - very pleasant and a wealth of knowledge.

Lovely Tour! Big results in a small package. - This was a lovely tour! Tony and Tom did a great job telling us about the locations and their history. My group was most interested in Stonehenge. We had not really researched Bath; it turned out to be a wonderful stop. The secret place was great! The views on the way were stunning. There’s no way a big tour bus could ever reach it. Also, being in a small group tour made it possible to connect with the guide and your brand new tour mates.

Outstanding tour and tour guide - This is the 2nd time I've used the English bus, and I was outstanding. Tony did an amazing job as our tour guide. He was a wealth of information about the sites we visited as well as information on many other things we saw as we toured the countryside. I highly recommend you use this firm and hopefully, Tony will be your guide.

A Perfect Day Trip Experience! - This was an excellent tour. Cara was our guide and took amazing care of us. My mother, who has a cane and walks very slowly, was with us and Cara made her feel so safe and made sure to provide a little extra help whenever possible. The knowledge shared was fascinating and really enhanced the entire experience. The bus is very clean and Cara was a great driver making it all feel so effortless. My entire group would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in a day trip. Well done, The English Bus!

Wonderful tour! - We had a wonderful time on our tour. Our tour guide Lucy was great. She was knowledgeable and wonderful answering questions from the kids on the tour. We enjoyed the small group experience. Weather was variable, so it was nice to get back in the bus when it started raining. We had enough time to see the center of Bath and get some food for a late lunch. The tour is a long day, but that was expected. It was great to get out of London to see the countryside. Highly recommend!

Great Day Trip! - It was a great day visiting Stonehenge and Bath! Lucy the tour guide brought a great spirit and a wealth of knowledge to the day, offering her perspectives, answering questions, and sharing a bunch of stories along the way. And we got to go to an awesome secret place on the way back! The only "even better if" I would offer is it would have been nice if Lucy accompanied us at the sites (at least Stonehenge) for live knowledge sharing but it may have been difficult to keep us all organized - and the upside is that every group got their own alone time. I would also have more info on lunch options in the description as that was an unknown going in. But that aside, definitely a 5 star day and would highly recommend.
