Seeing Shakespeare’s London with an amazing guide - The tour guide, Ed Toll, brought us through the neighborhoods where Shakespeare and his family and colleagues lived in London. We learned so much about his life and times. Ed had carefully selected sites, including sites of theaters, homes. churches and pubs along with memorials to visit and selected readings to make the tour exceptional.

Shakespeare tour - Our US students studying in London this summer really enjoyed the Shakespeare walking tour. The guide brought Shakespeare’s life and times to life in a clear and engaging way, and the stops around the city highlighted places connected to him and his work. It was a nice mix of learning and exploring, and a great way to get outside and see London. Definitely a great experience for anyone studying here.

A must do for curious minds in London! - This is a must do in London! Our host was an expert on Shakespeare and we loved his wisdom as he lead us around London for over 2 hours. One highlight was that he made us homemade Elizabethan era biscuits and brought us mead to sample so that we could cheers to Shakespeare. I would absolutely recommend this experience!

Brilliant tour! - Our English Literature A Level students (and us teachers!) found Eddie's tour very informative and thoroughly enjoyable. Starting in Shoreditch and finishing at the sight of the original Globe, we saw so many landmarks along the way that I wouldn't have known existed before. We enjoyed walking off the beaten track and imagining how these areas would have looked in the Elizabethan era. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in Shakespeare, and especially as a trip for A Level students like ours.

A MUST while in London! - If you love the theatre you simply can't NOT do this tour. Not only do you get to walk in the steps of Shakespeare himself - Eddie bring Shakespeare's words to life. As you wonder through London's east side you will find youself enthralled as Eddie delivers monologues from many of the Bard's greatest works all while pointing out the places that were significant to Shakespeare.

Hidden Gem - Brilliant! A wealth of knowledge from our guide Ed. Funny, entertaining and really insightful. Pace was great, not too strenuous, but nicely timed and kept a great flow. Balance of information and fun and some places we never would have discovered on our own. Highly reccomend.
