Amazing Tour - Totally awesome. Our tour guide, Colin, was extraordinarily knowledgeable. He has probably forgotten more about the music scene in London than most will EVER know. If you’re into music, this tour is worth three times what they charge!

Great, cool experience! - Colin’s knowledge and personality were outstanding. We happened to take the tour on a rainy morning. We still managed to pop out of the coach to see everything we were supposed to see, and since the rain kept some of the crowds away, he was able to bring us to a few spots that on a normal day would have difficulty finding parking. It is a relatively small group, too, so it was nice an intimate.

Music Junkies - Really enjoyed our guide Ian. He was entertaining & informative. He asked questions and remembered things that we said we liked. I was impressed that he remembered things and would mention them during our tour. We did both morning & afternoon. Saw different sights and the group was small enough we had personal attention.

Needed more stories - It was nice to take a few hours out of a busy vacation to ride in a coach and learn about London rock history. But, we felt the tour itself was missing detail about the history of London's bands. Much of the things we saw were pointing out a window to say "xyz band drank here" or "so and so used that building 3 miles away in the distance on a cover of an album". Would really have liked to have had the guide bring to live what life would have been like for these bands in these neighborhoods during the time they were active and recording. We stopped into Royal Albert Hall, but were given no context for the importance of the building to rock history - rather, it was a place to spend more money on snacks and possibly souvenirs and we spent valuable time sitting around there when we could have been sightseeing more. Stopped in a nice little record store, but it was far too small for even our small tour group. The attitudes of the guide and driver were so fun and enthusiastic, but overall, for the price 3 of us spent, we could have pooled our money for an Uber to Abbey Road and walked across it a few times for photos on our own. For those that are true rock fanatics and want a fully immersive experience, skip this tour and buy a ticket to a local show instead.
