Fascinating couple of hours - This was actually my second time on one of Francis' tours and it was even better than the first. We did a tour of East London starting at Liverpool Street and weaving our around all sorts of interesting cultural and historical sites, finishing at Brick Lane. We learned so much about all the different people who came to this part of London over the years. Francis' knowledge is outstanding and his sense of humour always makes for a lively tour! Would highly recommend any of Francis' tours!

Excellent tour! Personal experience with the Metro Police! Unique perspective! - Francis provided us with a wonderful personalized tour. He asked us about our interests and made sure to point out details during our tour that may be of particular interest to us. He shared stories from his years with the Metropolitan Police along with some of the more well known and lesser-known stories from years gone by. He brings a unique perspective to this tour based on all his personal experience and expertise. Well worth it! Highly recommend!

A must-have for your London experience! - Tour content is thoughtfully and creatively assembled, and Francis is engaging, authentic and knowledgeable. You’ll enjoy hearing his colorful accounting of historical London crime stories as well as his personal crime-fighter experiences just as much as he enjoys sharing them all. Bonus: Francis so kindly and patiently waited for our small group when our Uber ran late and frequently sought covered hideaways here and there during the tour so that we could temporarily shake off the persistent rain. He is a treasure! Highly recommend.

Don’t miss it - A very enjoyable and informative way to spend a couple of hours. Even as a Londoner I learnt loads about the history of this central part of London. Francis was incredibly knowledgeable and made the trip fun. I would thoroughly recommend this even if crime and police history isn’t obviously one of your prime interests.

Brilliant police & Crime walk - We enjoyed this tour immensely. We are Londoners, there were lots of hidden gems on this walk, that really brought the area to life. Francis is very knowledgeable and the tour covers past and recent murders in the beautiful Covent Garden area. I would highly recommend this tour, for its macabre humour and Francis individual spin on the topic. I particularly enjoyed the police stables, which you can visit after the tour, if open, along with the old Scotland Yard hotel for the historical artifacts Be sure to wear your walking shoes as Francis covers a lot of ground.

Definitely go on this tour if you are interested in crime, law and order! - This tour is excellent. Former police officer Francis walked us through many locations significant for policing history. He also shared a detailed and fascinating insight into his career. We learned a lot about how the policing system has changed over the centuries and how it operates today. The pleasant walk begins at Covent Garden Station and ends at the famous headquarters of the police, the New Scotland Yard. The setting is great and there are plenty of places to have a good meal after the walk. I went on this tour with my parents for my father's birthday. My father has always been interested and passionate about crime, law and order. It was great to see Francis match that passion and share all his expertise and knowledge.

Interesting tour with a former policeman - We enjoyed this tour very much despite the constant rain. Francis took us through the origins of the police force to the present day, finishing at New Scotland Yard. It was interesting to hear Francis’ first hand experiences of serving in the police force whilst visiting some iconic places around our wonderful city. Thank you for uncovering some hidden spots which we weren’t aware of and for delivering an engaging tour.
