Stellar afternoon to remember forever - Simón Taylor, our guide, brought the place to life with stories and anecdotes that made our visit memorable. He is outstanding as a guide. We would love to catch up to him again for more stories and for sharing the beauty of his country and it’s history. A stellar experience!

Tea and a Great Walk - Doug gave me a fantastic private tour of Kensington Gardens even though I wasn't expecting it to be a private tour. It was a beautiful day in London and I enjoyed our walk around and the highlights of the area. The tea was held at the Gore Hotel that we walked to after our tour of the Kensington grounds with their tulips and daffodils in bloom. Our last stop on the grounds was the Prince Albert Memorial, Queen Victoria’s tribute to her husband. Then on to The Gore Hotel which was a perfect spot for afternoon tea even though it was a replacement for the Orangery that hadn’t finished its remodel. It might have been a replacement location but it was great to share tea with Doug in their comfortable library. The food was yummy and the scones with even homemade jam and lovely clotted cream were great. I took two boxes of sandwiches and desserts back to my hotel but I was able to enjoy some more later. A great afternoon.

Tea and cakes on Princess Diana's china - Attended an afternoon tea in the final stages of the restoration of the Orangery which is a far superior venue to the former semi-permanent building. A lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes and obviously scones with clotted cream and jam, accompanied by a variety of teas (or coffee if you're a heathen lol). All served on Princess Diana's china - priceless!

Five-star Kensington Palace Pavilion Royal High Tea, with first-class service.. - We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious High Tea in the Kensington Palace Pavilion, before Christmas. Great location, with a view of Diana's sunken garden, which we walked around beforehand. Great range of teas, from the Queen's favourite to herbal infusions. Loved the coronation chicken, salmon, cucumber, and egg sandwiches; scones and clotted cream; and four delicious cakes - on a porcelain set favoured by Diana. Very happy with the friendly and excellent service. We learned that the Orangerie will reopen in March/April and will definitely be back for more.

Great tour - needs more information at booking - Overall this was a great tour. Doug was very friendly and knowledgeable. Sadly there was no mention at booking that Kensington Gardens is closed on Monday and Tuesdays so we couldn't see the Diana Statue or the gardens. We did walk the adjacent parks and had high tea at a local hotel. The tea and food items were delicious. For the price point it would have been nice to know prior to booking the preferred days so as to experience the full tour. I can understand why others feel like they didn't get the full experience they payed for.

Terrible disappointment - A hotel is not a Palace!! We should have been notified of the change & allowed to cancel. We were marching all over the park! Simon was well versed but wordy.
