  • Cutty Sark - We will meet outside Cutty Sark, the only surviving teaclipper in the world. You will hear about the history and its journeys to and from Asia including some interesting stories.
  • Old Royal Naval College - We will admire Christopher Wren’s 17th century masterpiece, how it started as a naval hospital and ended as a university today.
  • National Maritime Museum - We will visit this museum, to discover Britain’s maritime history, including galleries about Nelson, Battle of Trafalgar, see objects like wonderful figureheads , 300 year old Prince Federick’s barge and many more.
  • Queen’s House - Queen’s House is a historic royal residence built between in early 1600’s, by architect Inigo Jones, for Anne of Denmark, the queen of King James I. Queen’s House is one of the most important buildings in British architectural history, first classical Palladian style building in England. It is famous for its beautiful stair case.
  • Royal Observatory Greenwich - The observatory was commissioned in 1675 by King Charles II, built by Christopher Wren, on the highest point of Greenwich Park. For centuries Royal Astronmers worked here, establishing Longitude which improved safety in shipping and navigation in the seas. Nowadays it is a museum where you can stand on the prime Meridian Line and admire the famous John Harrison maritime clocks.

Incredible Place Beautifully Presented - The Maritime Museum is like no other museum. So much of the UK 🇬🇧 is built on naval power and prowess. To miss this place us to miss the incredible history of that journey. We loved it. Our kids loved it. It’s free. Go there!!!
