- The British Museum - We start with the Assyrian, Egyptian and Greek galleries on the ground floor.\n\nWe’ll see 40-ton Assyrian lamassu beasts, statues of famous pharaohs and the Parthenon temple sculptures of Athens.\n\nWe elbow our way to the front of the famous Rosetta stone and talk about its importance to history.\n\nAfter a break, we go upstairs to see the Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Babylonian, Persian, Greek and Roman galleries as time allows and your preference dictates.\n\nWe’ll look at Roman emperors, Persian tableware and drinkware that Esther and Nehemiah would have been familiar with, Egyptian mummies and a game that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph would have played.\n\nWe’ll examine some weights that Daniel may have had in mind when he interpreted the handwriting on the wall for King Belshazzar.\n\nSome of the Biblical people we’ll discuss:\nEgypt: Joseph, Moses, Abraham;\nAssyria: Jonah, Ahab, Hezekiah;\nBabylon: Daniel;\nPersia: Queen Esther, Nehemiah;\nRome: Jesus;\nGreek: Paul

Linking the Bible to artefacts in the British Museum - I thoroughly enjoyed this tour of the British Museum. David creates a friendly atmosphere., while delivering an enormous amount of information, packed with insight. He also has a good strategy to help one remember the content. I came away invigorated and with a new enthusiasm for the Bible

Great tour to help you visualize and better understand Biblical references from other secular historical discoveries - Great communication. Excellent tour. Loads of information. Gave faces to names in the Bible. Got a greater understanding of political history mentioned in the scriptures. Spent extra time with us to finalize the tour even after the museum closed.

The highlight of our trip! - Our family booked a private tour with David in order to maximize our time at the British Museum, and it was worth every penny! We enjoy studying the Bible and I am in Seminary...and we still learned so much! He made the Bible come alive by connecting countless artifacts with people, stories, and timelines noted in the Bible. He was also great at engaging our 9 year old, and we all found it fascinating. We especially appreciated the care he took in preparing us and making the time count by knowing the museum as well as he does. And his knowledge (and love) of the Bible and archeology are incredible!! Plus, he knows we will be seeing a LOT, so he cued us to take photos of each artifact, and then sent us materials afterwards with all of the verses and other bits to help us remember what we learned. I cannot recommend his tour highly enough and will definitely book a repeat to see more when we visit London next time!

Biblical artefacts come alive. - David brought the Bible to life in the most vivid and engaging way. His deep knowledge, paired with a warm, funny, and friendly personality, made the entire tour feel like a joyful walk through history. Each artifact became a doorway into scripture, and his storytelling helped us see familiar passages with fresh eyes. We laughed, learned, and left feeling inspired. It was more than a tour—it was a spiritual and cultural experience we’ll never forget. Highly recommended to anyone seeking meaning, connection, and a few good laughs along the way.

Amazing Biblical History with Biblical Artifacts - Wow! We found David's guidance of history and proving Biblical history, very interesting. He took us to each display where we sat on a portable stool and he told us all the history and Biblical references for each artifact. Highly recommend!

My wife and I left "wowed" by just how much insight David was able to add to the museums. - I can't recommend the two London Bible tours enough, they are spectacular!
David's extensive knowledge as well as his insight and method of performing the tour with Bible Study (bring your Bible or app!) adds so much to the visit to the British museum. The exhibits in the museum don't mention the Biblical references to the items on display, so seeing in the Bible itself the history and stories behind the items bring the items to life.
I have to be honest, when I read through the Bible I tend to gloss over the parts with names and histories I don't know anything about. The sections I usually speed read over now have deep meaning and a visual reality to the events and the people mentioned. To visit the museum and walk through without the tour, you would never know how connected the artifacts are to the Bible and the events and people recorded in the Bible.
David's knowledge and insight is especially valuable. David has done a lot of preparation work, with slides and Bible references to look up as you go through each section. My wife and I were really impressed with the experience and left the museums "wowed" by just how much was packed into the day. I would definitely want to do the tour again next time I am in London.

Amazing tour, very informative, don’t miss it - Our heartfelt thank you for David’s well informed guidance on the tour. We learned a lot. He is very knowledgeable on the Biblical relevance of each artifact and gave a comprehensive chronological presentation throughout the Old and New Testament. There are vivid images of each period and events that used to be just bland texts in the Bible, but this tour brought them into coherent and vivid images. Moreover, the relationships of biblical characters in the Bible, the when, where and what they do became flowing stories. Very much appreciated the effort and meticulously presented guidance, making this a memorable high point of our visit in London.

Bible Comes Alive with Archaeological Evidence - Loved this tour! One thing that will stick with me for a long time is the mirror that Paul may have been referring to- what an excellent word picture of the comparison between looking in a mirror and what it will be like to see Christ face to face. Thank you so much for putting together such an amazing tour

The OT brought to life in the British Museum! - David was a WONDERFUL guide for our tour and exploration of the British Museum's amazing collection of Bible-relative artifacts. The brief preface to our tour (during which he assisted us with loading a great Bible app for our use) helped to set the background historically for the Old Testament timeline he would be illuminating. Throughout our tour, David kept us engaged as he led us through Bible history utilizing the look-up of Bible passages (via the app) as he led us to the pertinent artifacts. The Israelites' history of triumphs and tragedies endured during interactions with the Assyrians, Babylonians and Persians as recorded throughout the Old Testament were brought alive as we viewed the artifacts of those kings and civilizations in the museum. David's clear and concise narrative (and occasional query to us) made the time with him fly by. David's intimate knowledge not only of the museum's layout but each of the period displays was apparent to us as he expertly guided us from exhibit to exhibit. He also emailed us follow-up information to provide additional clarification to several topics we had discussed (ex: a video link showing the use of a Persian king's Rhyton in pouring wine). We HIGHLY recommend David and this tour!
