Highlights
  • Soho - During the walk your fab guide will take you through tiny side streets, highlighting easy-to-miss sites; point out stunning theatres and legendary music venues, and even show you locations from photoshoots and videos so you can walk in the footsteps of the Beatles, all the while entertaining you with insightful commentary.
Discover the discrete recording studio which was used by the Beatles and other rock Gods including Queen, Elton John and Rod Stewart to name but a few. The Beatles music is loved by millions, so it’s no surprise that the Beatles have generated billions of pounds over the last 60 years. They’re big business, so a section of the tour will look at the business behind the Beatles, including their spin off companies and royalties. Music lovers will know that Soho was the beating heart of the music industry in the 1960s, so naturally, the Beatles spent a lot of time here. One of their hangouts was the world-famous jazz club Ronnie Scott’s.
  • Mayfair - Gaze up at the roof where the Beatles performed live together for the last time in a rather respectable street in Mayfair.
  • St. James’s - Hear about John and Yoko’s first meeting at Yoko’s art exhibition and how it turned out to be an enduring love affair between the two of them.

Excellent and informative - We did the Beatles Walking Tour in London over the weekend and found it to be very interesting, fun and informative. It's always fascinating to learn about the history of The Beatles and their contemporaries as well as visiting landmarks/venues which carry so much musical and cultural significance. I've lived in London all my life and still learnt things that I didn't know before about certain venues! Catherine is an excellent and friendly tour guide. She kept our group engaged throughout and made sure that everyone could hear her when she was speaking. It was great to see her photobook too which showed archived photos of The Beatles in the 1960s in different venues around London. There's were several opportunities to take photos and the tour is very well organised, planned out and not rushed at all. The group size of 20 is just right for this type of tour. I'd highly recommend this walking tour to any music fan!
