Bath/Cotswold experience - First off James, our tour guide, and Armando, our bus driver were great. We appreciated the information James shared with us as we drove AND the times he let us look out the window (or doze!) in silence. The drive is long between stops so the actual time spent in Bath, in Bourton-on-the-Water and in Burford was tight. We had time to enjoy a cream tea in B-on-the-W but not enough time to search out Jane Austen’s house in Bath. The key take away is you get a small taste at each stop. Not a full day at each.

Lovely tour - James is a humorous and informative guide, and Armando is one of the best and safest driver, mad respect 🫡 We did the Bath and Cotswold tour, pretty towns, a bit rushed and wished we had earphones to listen to. Other than that, LOVELY!

Fast paced tour of Bath and 2 Cotswolds - Just be prepared that this is fast paced, and you will spend approximately 6 hours in the van that day (more time spent in van than at the actual sites). However, it’s a good way to sample these sites if you’re short on time or otherwise don’t have your own transportation to get there. Our guide, Amanda, was very energetic and upbeat, giving us historical info en route to each site. She was dutiful to count each group member before leaving each site. If you’re solo, she’ll help take pictures of you and knows the best photo opps. Everyone in this group of about a dozen was mostly respectful and returned to the van on time, so that we could visit our next site as planned. Be aware that, in the morning, they will start counting you as no-show at 8:25 (if your tour leaves at 8:30, for example), as they do leave 8:30 on the dot. Wish there were more restrooms available at the departure point (two toilets for a long queue of women). At the sites you either have to find a public restroom (sometimes difficult) or go in a pub and buy a water or drink, use their restroom. Our driver was very prompt as well and always had us on time to our destinations, despite a road closure. Our guide Amanda told us we were fortunate to be in a van and not a coach/bus, as the van can more easily access the towns’ centers. Your ticket to the Bath museum is included with the tour. There is not much leisure time at these sites, maybe a few minutes to briefly get a souvenir, see the site, and grab a quick lunch in Bath. You’re not going to be able to read every single bit of info in the Bath museum (if that’s your thing), as you’d spend all of the allotted 2 hours in the museum and nothing else in town. I was able to walk to Jane Austen’s former home. The Cotswolds were a bit crowded on a hot day (during the heat wave), with tourists in the water. Beautiful little towns, I just feel somewhat bad for them being overrun. Overall I would recommend this tour if you’re short on time and would like to experience these sites. Shoutout to guide Amanda and our driver.

Happy customer - Our guide Amanda and driver Elwin were amazing. Amanda was always checking we were okay and had the information we required. Elwin drove us safely to all our destinations safely. The only thing that would have improved the trip is to have longer stays at each location, however I do understand the limitations with time.

Bath and the Cotswolds are a must see - Our tour to Bath and the Cotswolds were amazing. We were very lucky and had a beautiful, sunny day to travel. Bath was stunning with its rich history and gorgeous budlings and landscapes. Our tour operator was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed different things out to us as we traveled. The Cotswolds/ Burton on the Water were a throwback in time. I wish we could have had a bit more time at these places, since there is so much to see. We went in June which was a nice time of the year to travel and see the stunning landscape/flowers and a little less crowded!

Bus tour of Bath and Cotswold - The tour was changed up a bit and was not communicated to us OR the tour guide and driver. An 8 hour day with 2 hours at Bath (wonderful), 45 minutes at Bourbon on the Water and 20 minutes at Buford. The driver (Mike)and guide (Eileen) were very professional about the situation and did the best they could.

Simply Not Worth It - We don’t know where to begin from the confused staff at the pick up spot to the lack of time at each destination. If you want a tour of the inside of a tour bus this tour is for you, as this is where you will spend the vast majority of your time. A few hours in Bath and a cumulative one hour and thirty minutes in two touristy trap Cotswold villages speaks for itself. Next, when you spend this kind of money you don’t want to hear excuses or rambling explanations for what was clearly going on. The guide was lovely, and very knowledgeable but misguided who seemed to repeat herself with at times inane vapid stories. The driver Michael was the nicest man who is a quintessential gentleman and professional. Perhaps he should be running the show?

Waste of money and time better off going on your on - Completely a mess. First off the tour guide had the same five facts and was excessively repetitious. She screamed into the microphone such that it was necessary to put ear plugs in so as not to get a migraine within five seconds. Her misogynistic commentary that the husband’s get their wallets ready for shopping were ridiculous and add to it what shopping when you give not even 30minutes in a village. We wasted more time trying to get to the Roman Baths with her trying to convince us to go to one particular restaurant or ice cream shop. Almost as if she got commission from the restaurants. Then she told us to use the public toilets but forgot to mention that we needed change to do so. Other matters the Wi-Fi did not work at all. When she could tell we were unhappy she kept showing us the itinerary and asking did you enjoy. I was honest and stated I was not.
